I don't get how the ban on GM food can be grounds for retaliation. It's not like there are european producers selling GM food - GM food is simply illegal here. That's just like Amsterdam would retaliate against other countries because it cannot export drugs illegal in most countries.

People have no idea how important it is to ban and destroy GMO and the companies that produces this for cynical profits. It is crucial that all states worldwide now turns away from GMO and pesticides, 'cause pesticides causes just about the same results in the labs as GMO. So if you really love yourself, animals and your environment, start eating what is governmentally classified as organic unprocessed food. Note that in reality there are no such things as animal organic food, eggs included.

The fact that Europe doesn't allow GMO's is one of the only things that gives me hope that we also can rid them from the US soon. I am with you, Helen. I am Canadian, and have had several newsletters from Dr. Joseph Mercola - ot Chicago - who has written indepth about the GMO's. It is disgraceful what Monsanto is doing. In case you have not heard, Monsanto has brainwashed the U.S. farmers, telling them to inject Roundup into Soy plants. What do they think is going to happen to people who eat these plants? I guess they don't know that insecticides were not meant for people to digest. K.G.
