@Alvin4NY she does deserve some sort of a break. Cher was doing I think it was like 5 shows a week & if she wouldn't have shortened something she woulda been dog tired & possibly strained her cords. Also he has always done these songs as a medley because once you get to the end of them they start to repeat the chorus so might as well.

I was at her show on May 20th, 2009, sitting pretty close to where these pics were taken. It was an awesome show. I went to see her in Vegas last month ( twice), slapped 5 with her before her show, and she is still as beautiful as ever. I hope she sticks to her word and does another tour later this year. She is absolutely amazing!!!!!!

She's obviously doing something right. She didn't get that rich for nothing. If we've accepted her for 40 years, I think she's okay. She's known for her outrageous costumes during a concert. She knows what she's doing.

I think she should have continued and developed her film acting career, because she was damn good. Instead of this type of thing. I know she has a new film coming out, but I'm disappointed that after her Oscar, she seemed to go nowhere in particular in movies.

she did an abriviated version of Dark Lady...but it still was great.

The real question is, how many of the songs are performed as full versions? 2-3? I love her, but I'd prefer she'd work a little harder at singing and skip the fashion show.

@EvanStreetwiser * Well, that's a cop-out way for Cher to explain her laziness. She knows she's as good as the rest of them, and she could put on a FULL Show where she was actually singing the whole time, rather than a medly of three songs that takes 7:34 seconds, and four and a half of those are spent off the stage changing clothes. C'mon, you can have glamour and still pay enough attention to your voice and singing to be as good as you are.

@Alvin4NY -Bette Midler does a full two hours of singing, and she's a year older than Cher. Tina Turner is a notch above Bette, and she's got 10 years on Cher. Cher does 20 minutes of actual singing, and the rest of the time the band is running up on one-long-intro that waits for the next costume change. Cher knows that if nothing else, she can make a good entrance, so she just does that again and again.
