I think Amy Winehouse would have been a lot happier if she had become a bar tender at a pub because she could have listened to other peoples' problems. I bet she would have given the best advice because despite her monumental problems, she often seemed a very smart, perceptive, kind and nurturing woman. While i think it's true that she alone ultimately controlled whether she recovered from her numerous addictions, I also think she deserved a much better hand than the one she was dealt.
