Adam has a more powerful and likely better voice than Kris. Adam's voice is more rivetting. But because he is gay, his appeal is suffering. So Kris won. If it was only a voice contest, it was unfair that Kris won. But, since Idol is so much more than about just "voice", it was not unfair that Kris won. Idol is also about mass appeal. It won't surprise me if Adam sells a lot more records than Kris. Adam will have his niche in the market and could possibly dominate to a good degree.

I'm lost because this is U2 with Bono singing lead. If he is gay I didn't know. This may be U2's best song. It's my favorite, but Adam sleighs it. Each time I watch this guy sing at this level I'm reminded how stunned and disappointed I was when he lost. Chris was good, but he never showed vocal skills like this.
