  • yes man! u are damn right! Nokia should WAKE UP! :D

  • id have to say the n97 is the worst nokia out im bak down to my n95 8gig and i wont change till nokia get something right instead of pushin there fones out way 2 fast

  • dud change the intro music, really!

  • how did u get this 2.0 some 1 plzzzz help me idk how tom do it

  • hey john so just wondering whats ur impression of the n97 now i always wanted one im using a iphone right now so would u advice the jump to get the n97 or go for another phone or stick with the iphone

  • Totally agree with you.

  • Great video, totally agree with everything.

N97 has its advantages, BUT lags and crashes are driving me crazy. My n97 responses really slow, hopefully nokia will fix it!

Same here, i love nokia, but maybe, iphone is better

  • Yeaaa L4D2!!!! :-) Great video, great phone 5/5

  • Great video. I'll wait for the mini.

  • mini is out btw XD

  • i thought the application freeze was solved,

    what a disappointment

  • I was sold by the Nokia n97 add ....the actuall use of the phone left much to be desired...I wonder if the n900 will be the same, I will get it but only after I let a few guinea pigs take the plunge before me

  • "What you say about Nokia? I cut you!" Hahaha

  • Great video! I cut you! Lmao!!

  • I agree with everything!Unfortunately, i've paid 1 100 usd for this device.yes,i live in a country where everything is almost double the price than in USA (Serbia). Anyway,i've learned my lesson never to buy a product unless it's been present at least 4 month on the market.Kinetic scrolling on this phone is good in Phonebook and Music only.Web browser is extremely laggy and internal memory and ram are a tragedy!I've been using nokia for almost 10yrs and i'm starting to thing Android...

  • Paying 1100 usd for a symbian phone = epic fail :(

  • yeh the phone is pretty slow loading webpages and map is displaying a bit at a time. kinda disappointed with n97

  • y heard that n97 mini will be better

  • hihi... someone is telling you lies...

  • I cut you!! LOL LOL

  • you have to wait for the web browser to fully load before you use kenitic scrolling. And for the youtube vids, just double press on the screen and it will turn into full screen.

  • Thanks for the tips :).

I actually did tap, and double the screen.. but I guess I edited out that footage when trying to sync my voice over with the video (doh).

  • asshole

u have to click on video and select full screen.

i sold n97, because it sucked.

    but on youtube rules.

  • I actually did tap the screen.. but I guess I cut that part out during the editing process.. (whoops).

I really should be more careful with the editing.

Either way.. single or double tap didn't work for me.

I'm glad you were able to get your hands on a more useful device for you (which ever that one may be).

The N97.. is just not the device for me.

  • i forgot to say thanks for the vid. it was pretty entertaining and useful :)

  • pro tip for the browser, don't scrool until the page is fully loaded and use the mobile youtube page.

  • I thought the page was loaded when the loading indicator on the top disappeared.

You were able to explore web pages on, say.. the N95 8GB during the loading process. I guess its not the same on S60 5th?

I don't ever watch Youtube on the N97. I just tried to open a Youtube vid with the web browser on camera to show the loading time. :)

  • ROFL @ the intro! Well done.

  • hey look @ his eyes

  • to watch full screen video on youtube with n97 just touch the arrow at the bottom(if your web browser is in full screen) than tap the video once(than the video will pause)and than go options than you'll see a full screen option than its there=D.....anyway this v2.0 looks great but i can't get it yet because its not yet available in my country(i think)

  • Ahh... I didn't know that.

    Thanks for the tip :).

I've used the 5800 prior to the N97. And on the 5800, you just double tap the video.

I tried doing that in the video.. but it didn't work :(

  • it worked perfectly for me...but i don't know about the version 2.0..my n97 currently is v12..which worked for me(the youtube full screen thingy i mention in the previous comment)but sometimes the play and mute options don't always appear you sometimes have to tap the video twice(or 3 times sometimes to make those options appear(and for me i don't use the mobile version of youtube)=D

  • subscribe to outerspace25436

  • Hey congrats... 2.0 allows your phone to scroll like the rest of the phones on the market... that cost 10 times less... and dont crash... and have better browsers... but hey, you can flick scroll the shit out of that thing lol.

  • Lag or without lag.. I personally don't like the kinetic/flick scrolling on the N97.

I mean.. it is better than none at all.. but its not the greatest.

From what I've seen.. Nokia was able to pull it off with the N900.

Kinetic scrolling on the N900 looks smooth and organic.. well at least to me.

  • Lol, i cut you, hahahha

  • Hahah, I didn't realize I was going to get quite a few people quoting me on that particular phrase :P

  • hahaha the ending was nice .. good video

  • Thanks :)

  • i think it's better then the old firmware
