She isn't going to eat all that food at least I don't think that was the intent of the scene...she just orders it because she is all about excess....every aspect of her existence shows it....right down to a table of food that could feed twenty people....and the funny thing is she's there all day...ordering food....and despite all the wicked things she does throughout the season, she believes that she is part of something beautiful and divine...nothing she does is out of spite.

@Yogiri Io Io Bromius, Io Io Iacchus, Io Io Bacchus, Hekas Hekas Este Bebeloi (the words Io and Iacchus begin with a capital i, but they appear to be the letter L, which is why the show made the chant "Lo Lo ______"). Loosely translated, it means "I summon Bromius, Iacchus, Bacchus, let the profane ones depart". It's a cleansing chant meant to purify an area in preparation for ritual.

In my opinion, Maryann is a fine example of a good villian. One who is cunning, manipulative, ruthless, and down right cruel. There are streaks of I guess of "emotions" that shows that she isn't without another side of her. She has a delusion of a deep true meaning to what all she done and that was her downfall. Besides what was a little part in Charlaine Harris book became something bigger and interesting in the Maryann/Callisto character.

@chasityeve The best villains in my opinion is like Maryann. Not too much known about them, they seem good to other people that no one ever imagines their motives. They are pure evil without any light side and they live of over 4000 years like Marian who I'm not sure if she has any good side for triggering this chaos in a small town. +1 for your comment

@HaloFSky Thank you. I don't think she had a lighter side, not much really. She probably used to be human and all those years corrupted her and just twisted her into the crazy maenad we see. She has her short "human moments" like when she talks to Tara about the fanatics wanting to get close to their god in one of the episodes and at end where she thought she met her god. But it was very brief and she still the evil maenad cutting peoples' hearts. In the end it gave her nothing.
