@DawnFailCry Where did you hear about the "to work for blizzard you need to work in activision" thing? This is completely untrue. Also, there's no point being so negative. Companies hire people. Blizzard is just another company. A good one yes, but working there is by no means unattainable. If you work is good and if you try hard enough, you'll end up there.

@code32167 I was a GM during BC. I know mate. To work for Blizz you need atleast 1 Year 3 Months in Activision CA,NY or DC offices. They don't take people working @ other companies for safty reasons.

@DawnFailCry Maybe rules are different for different departments, but I'd have a hard time believing such rules exists on the development side(programmers, designers, aritsts, producers). Blizzard development is independent from that of other Activision-owned studios, or Activision itself (which is a publisher.) If they required developers to work for essentially unrelated studios for a year and half first, there is no way they'd be getting the kind of talent they are getting.

@DawnFailCry: I can see that customer service might be very different from actual development. For one, development side normally don't hire people who have anger issues. Stay negative if you want, just don't take other hopefuls down with you. It is very doable to get a job in game development, and if you are good enough and get along with people you'll get hired regardless of your experience at most companies.

Its specifically for the game industry so thats good its a cool private college they have teachers that work in the industry so you really get to learn a lot from them. But the school I really wanted to go to was the art institutes but i am happy where i am at.
