FYI the high speed wind noise is caused by the rubber sealing (weatherstrip) on the top edge of the front doors, outer side. They are too soft and start flapping at these speeds and produce this annoying noise. Dealership should be able to swap them for new harder ones.

The steering wheel motor is faulty. Infiniti did release a recall and will replace it with a new design.

On my FX50s the same thing happened and Arabian Automobile changed it for FREE!

Also you can flash your transmission software which will make the care shift much smoother (also a technical bulletin was released). I had this also done at Arabian Automobile and the car downshifts much smoother (at 40kmph for instance!)

I also beat X6 V8 in acceleration.

My uncle has it, its LX, its comfortable but not as fast as the fx, and very very big. Which x6 did you test? i6 or the v8? the advantane in x5 is that you get 5 seats, or 7 if you want childrent to sit in the back, rear visibility is there. other than that, I don't feel much driving difference between x5 and x6, 1 has more room, the other is better in turns. I can't make up my mind......

yeah LX ain't fast but it's comfortable i like it but costs 2 much not worth it .. i did test V8 X6 n X5 5 seats i got comfortable with X5 more they're quite the same but in shape even in drivin X5 better with me .. 7 seats in X5 , 2 seats for childrent under 10 yrs thats it it doesnt fit someone older ..

lol omg thats funny! cuz my mom has a gs460 and my dad has an fx.

the gs is an okay car but nothing compared to the infiniti fx. the infiniti is more in performance if thats what ur looking for, and for luxury both of them are good but i find the fx more attractive still after a while, the gs's luxury gets boring after a while.

my opinion goes with the infiniti fx, plus its gets way more looks n a wyy sleeker style
