I cannot believe some of the comments that are written on here. It may be boring and rubbish to you but this is a traditional dance going back generations in England. It may not be amazing like some other dances like Irish dancing but not everything in tradition is fast beat and exciting. I love the traditional dance as it's part of where I am born and I would happily try this. So don't go dissing our ethnicities because I bet there is at least one thing boring in yours!
I am Scottish, part English, Irish and Spanish and I would be proud to do a flamenco with bells on my legs while wearing a kilt all done to river dance music, so yeah thanks for dissing my ethnicities
why is it national dancing is always so slow and unrhythmical! (most probably the dancing pensioners cause the non-musicality no doubt!) cant we update english dancing a bit more so it's a bit more exciting like irish step or flamenco which are probably the only 2 national dances that are fun to watch and do!............
