I liked the music from the late 60's up until the early 90's. When rap and hip hop overtook the radio waves, oh well you understand, but remember the 70's did give us disco. I wonder how many "artist" today would not want to release a song because they thought it too commercial. Jim Morrison did. Loved this song and group.

Man does this take me back.This tune has to be in the all time 10, of that era, " The Reagan Years". And i'm so very lucky to have rode that wave, and it was what they called " new wave" and it was incredible ! It was like the " British Envasion " of the 60's but 80's style. It was everywhere. In "82" when this came out i was a young 18 year old, now, 48. But wouldn't tade for nothing. Long live the 80's !

Life is so strange... There is a definite 60's, Doors-ish influence to Dale Bozzio's music. Yes I said her music, because she essentially was missing persons :) Anyone who wants to see a good cover of Mental Hopscotch... check out Nancy Silva Project on yt. She did it live abunch of times. She has an amazing voice and presence as wlel. Kind of a punkier version. I love female fronted bands because they empower women and show just how special they are in a male controlled business...

Terry Bozio's chord changes are fantastic. Saw them at Michigan Theater in '83 (Ann Arbor). Their music is still cutting edge. If only they had gotten out of LA and all that goes with that. LA is seductive.

@docpsy49 i only wish i could have been an adult back when the 1975 world series was played! i REALLY enjoy watching the game 6 in its entirety (NO, NOT the drive through version) when it comes on espn classic. i must admit that, also, being a NEW YORK YANKEES fan, i will say that my two favorite teams are the yankees and WHOEVER is playing against the bloody red sox! i AM also a REDS fan as well. i also enjoy watching the 1976 world series as well - only time i like seeing the yankees lose.
