there´s one thing i don´t understand... Sidney died in her wedding with Craig, when Samantha hits her with the car in an accident.... But... when Sidney appears all covered with blood in this remake, seems to have had a different accident... I´m confussed!!! Can anyone explain this?

Sydney is not really died in her wedding's day but the story at the beginning must be to Heather Locklear, I mean Amanda should die in the pool instead of Sydney but Heather Locklear refused so the producer proposed to Laura Leighton. Voila, there is it the story.

In fact, Amanda is another one who faked her deadh TWICE!!! First from his early husband Jack Parezzi, and in the end of the first show, with help of Michael, so she could run from the police with Peter... How will she come back from that?

yeah, thats really weird. but i dont understand why she dies twice. xD ok, in 1997 she wasn't dead and after 12 years old she dies for the 2nd time xD poor Syd. maybe in the next episodes we will discover that Mrs Andrews is not dead XD my gosh! xD

I´ve been a fan of Melrose Place since the season Kimberly blows the building... And I know every detail of all those twisted stories of the original show.The new show seems to be promising. I think we have to give it time... Everyone can tell you are a fan and a great editor because, ladies and gentleman: THIS IS A MP OPENING!!!!!

Sidney died but not really, because in fact the story of the new Melrose Place was for Heather Locklear, but she didn't want to play in the new spin off, so the producers called Sydney. We'll see how did the screewriters to bring back Sydney Andrews in the new Melrose Place.

I read online that "The Bitch is back" Heather Locklear reprises her character as Amanda Woodward on November 17th, in time for sweeps....I seen tonight's episode and Josie Bissett did a real good job.

Yeah, and in front of the church after marrying Craig Field, the car was driven Jane's roomate Samantha(Brooke Langton), David Charvet played Craig who eventually committed suicide over the grief of losing Sydney.
