Boot Scootin Boogie came out the year i was born.

And "Rock my world little country girl" has been my song since the time i was little.

I saw them in concert when i was 7.

Just wish i could see them before their "Last Rodeo" is over.

They've already been Through OK though.

When i was little i called them "My Boys".

I will always love their music and it will stand the test of time.

Somewhere around 1992 I was living in Nashville and was in the studio with former Steve Earle drummer Craig wright recording some songs,, a couple which ended up on my "Ain't No Train Outta Nashville" record. The guy who owned the studio was a real cool guy, but I noticed he seemed real nervous and was chain smoking a lot. He told us he had just had a song cut by Brooks and Dunn and that he was awating his first royalty check. He played the song for us.
