I think it's cute. I've had 2 Golden Retriever dogs...they're very lovable. The cat was not afraid and the dogs had no intention of hurting the cat. Notice the cat licking the dogs paws and face.....it's very cute. I'd love to have the cat and the puppies. I love cats and Golden Retrievers.
That cat was not hurt!, it ran away when it wanted to. It could have run at anytime. It looks worse than it really is, trust me those puppies backed off when the cat was no longer fun. The cat decided not to be fun anymore, not the puppies.

They mostly just tried to hug/gang pile the cat, nothing they did would have caused any harm. Most cats I've met usually just run away from people or are just boring, this is why I enjoy dogs more. They're usually more eager to please and have fun than cats are.

They are either going to play with it or you could risk causing a divide between them that can manifest into a rivalry.
You guys really need to stop jumping into conclusions. If you have puppies, they need to be socialized with cats. You just have to step back and let them interact with another(unless they're killing each other) besides they're animals.

That's terrible. I know the pups weren't trying to be malicious, but it's the important job of the pet owner to teach the pups that the cat is another member of the family and not a play thing. The cat isn't going to stand a chance being trampled by a group of several retrievers--even if they are puppies. It would be different if the cat could get up, but at one point it was obvious he was trapped and very distressed.

As state in some clips: A "playtime" that ends bed where a cat is involved will end with bloodshed and horrible injuries.. My cat would get all huffy and angry if puppies jumped her, lmao. It was smart of the cat to jump somewhere where the puppies couldn't reach her/him completely.

That's terrible. I know the pups weren't trying to be malicious, but it's the important job of the pet owner to teach the pups that the cat is another member of the family and not a play thing. The cat isn't going to stand a chance being trampled by a group of several retrievers--even if they are puppies. It would be different if the cat could get up, but at one point it was obvious he was trapped and very distressed.

As state in some clips: A "playtime" that ends bed where a cat is involved will end with bloodshed and horrible injuries.. This was a very passive cat, who obviously wanted to avoid conflict and playtime with the young. I did feel a little bad for the cat though when they were all on top of him.. poor cat.

Gee whiz, guys--can't someone put up a video of his animals playing without being accused of abuse? If the cat really didn't like it, it would've scratched the puppies, and the playtime would've ended instantly.
I love how one puppy decides to go see the cat, and then all the others were like, "Oh yeah! Me too!"

You misunderstand. The cat is in charge. It could have ended the play in an instant with it's claws or teeth. Cats have no problem in a situation like this educating puppies as to the proper relationship between cats and dogs. This cat was mobbed only because it chose to let it happen.
