The video's message is that Independent Media needs to be subsidized? If you mean by Voluntary Private Citizens then fine, but if you mean by Government Subsidies then it's just another form of socialism. I wish socialism works, as I have no capital. But it doesn't.

I am sad that more people aren't standing up against this! What happens is that groups are formed to combat this type of abuse of power and are labeled as "the fringe element" and when people hear that (labeled as such by the very companies that they are fighting against) they are largely ignored.

Oh, please. What a crock. This has nothing to do with corporate "control" of media. It's all about the "progressives" (careful not to use the "L" word in the video, aren't we?) wanting to maintain the monopoly on media spin they've had for decades. The advent of the internet and the huge influx of conservative programs since the demise of the (un)Fairness Doctrine is taking them out of their comfort zone. If you TRULY believe in veracity, why don't you tell us who funds the FAIR organization?

Traditional media is dominated by large corporations, yes, as they have been for decades, but it seems like it hasn't been until recently that we've seen folks like the ones in this video railing against it so vehemently (and the drive to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine or similar "locality" legislation pretty much tells me why).

Given the advent of blogs, websites, message boards, podcast, etc. I'm not particularly worried, at least not until the same folks go after THAT freedom of speech...

Knowledge is Power, of course they will go striaght for the media take ove, ecery form of media. They say "the end justifies the means" Other's say, "You will know a tree by it's fruit"

Over 2 million views, youtube is now manipulating the ratings. A lot of Dennis Kuccinich', and Ron Pauls best comments are being rated one star.Comments are being given thumbs down even when the comments are positive and in agreement of the content within the video. Keep posting, the people are looking. Please write in the text box your rating and tell all. FIVE STARS

I bet you can't beleve you posted this video 1 year ago and only got 1000 views. I have posted media reform solutions too and haven't got many views either. How can we get the message out better?

Very good question. It's probably the most important issue, because it is the only one that effects all other issues. I would think more people would be paying attention, but I haven't made much of an effort trying to get traffic to this one. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears as I like to spread the word about these topics.

The ratings on the reviews are rigged now on youtube. They are doing it on CNN's blogs too. This has probably had over 2 million views, so rest assured, the message has gotten out.
