One thing this game is missing that really sold me on the first two odd worlds (other than Abe heh) Is the grotesque character design. In the first two most of the enemies looked like walking mutilated limbs of the human body. Or just funny and macabre.

I still can't wait to get my hands on this game thought.

I've known you guys for just under 2 years now, and whilst I have watched all your Oddworld Playthroughs already, I still marvel at how well done they are. No annoying commentary, great quality... this is third in the oddworld quintology, isnt it, its changed quite a bit from the first two games, which i probably preffered

@rocketmik65 This is the third protagonist that OW has introduced to us but he's NOT part of the quintology, Stranger's wrath as a whole is kind of a side story. They were planning on having a spritiual sequel to stranger which was a side story too, but then they went into filmaking and they havent gone past the pre-production phase of either movies or games since.

Well, the first two got a little tedious at times. Especially in munch's oddysee where you had to manually pick up and rescue hundreds of eggs one by one. It gets irritating when something takes that long. This game is much more straight forward.

But aside from that, its the second best game i own on my xbox. Rayman 3 takes first no questions.

The Oddworld Series is quite possibly my all time favorite games with Forza and Project Gotham Racing coming in close second and third. It is just a great, great work of art by Lorne Lanning. Here's nothing but great hope for the proposed animated movie series coming out.

my boyfriend told me that Lorne made oddworld seven times the size of our world

when you think about all the different cultures we have on this planet, and oddworld is supposedly seven times of what we have youre bound to have different types of cultures, so when you think about it Lorne doesnt really have a limit so he can therefore create many different societies, cultures and creatures, hence why Stranger is completly different to Abes (that game is legend though) just making a point

Uhm this game came out in 2006 or so for the original XBox and sadly the developer studio confirmed never to make a game though so many people loved it... But it was because Ubisoft (Publisher) did not make any comercials for it so it was not soooooo succesful. I hate Ubisoft, Stranger was such a cool game.

Bolamites also work with the Looten Duke, but he doesn't stay trapped very long. He breaks free almost immediately so you have very little time to bounty him while he's trapped.
