Man, I trust Bioware to make this game incredible. But I also have a part of me who is afraid that the story may be underwhelming. Sure it will be an incredible game regardless, but I hope it has a satisfying conclusion. Explaining why the reapers do it. A very plausible way of saving the galaxy, and make Shepard more than just the guy who hold the gun you're shooting. I am sure they will do a great job, but I just hope it frankly, blows me away.

@thetruth604 that isn't Thane, that guy is another drell named Feron. The footage is from the DLC: Lair of the Shadow Broker. But if you really want the full effect of the story, read the graphic novel. Mass Effect: Redemption. It fills in the blanks as to how Liara got Shepard's body.

@KamirosPallas That was a DLC in Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker. That Drell is named Feron and he previously worked with Liara after Shepard was killed in the Collector attack. He was later captured by the Shadow Broker and interrogated. Liara vowed that she would save Feron and payback the Shadow Broker personally.

DA2 was smashed together in less than a year and ME2 was dumbed down for Gears of War fans, all done poorly because EA kept pressuring BW. Though BW isn't completely blameless, that's what happens when you have a publicly traded company. An honestly, If BW had control of their company do you really believe they'd have co-op horde mode and multi-player in ME3? More proof EA is turning ME3 into a Gears clone.
