  • @stacy4422 Cool then go build a wall if thats all it takes..

  • @teamempowerment I build them all the time the mix is no big secret just some Fortifier Admixture thats all why you guys act like its some big hush, hush thing anyone that know create knows what Admix to put in for what they are doing

  • @stacy4422 // Really well then good for you post your video on your youtube how you do it we would love to see you good you are since you know how....

  • @stacy4422 Send us some pics of all the great walls and projects you have build.. I bet they are nice.. lets see em... .. Its amazing to me how people know everything but dont show everything... lets see your walls Stacy4422...... You havent even posted a video on your youtube post a wall dude lets see....

  • bout 11.50 a sq ft?

  • Great job guys

  • what would be the cost roughly to have a contractor come in and do the work that was done here that almost the same size that i would need probably a bit smaller please give me a ball park idea i loved the look and the other looks you have on your website. look forward to your response!

  • @joelphnx It depends on the access and the area for the cost of the concrete but this wall was installed for around 5,500

  • it has a Hydroscopic additive and other properties that help in stacking the concrete without forms there is no aggregate other than double washed sand. This is only one of many other applications that StoneMakers™ has.

  • the concrete has rock or it is just the concrete?

  • @palomacanpana No aggregate just sand, wall builder (StoneMakers™ product), Fly ash and portland.

We also use a polymer coating to have a color bond.

  • @fishermanfranky ask the block guys why they dont use stone.

  • @pachuansam Your right its not.

  • @fuzzpool There is a very large market for what we do and it looks a whole lot better than block and some real rock. Go to the block videos and comment on there about your real rock and the benefits of real rock vs block. 92 percent of all retaining walls are done with block. this is a better alternative, price wise and much stronger. Good luck with your rock building hope you can get your prices in this economy.

  • I think its a great idea for applications 4 foot and under , anything bigger and I'd go with stone.

  • @fuzzpool It depends on the sealer you use, a little study goes a long way. If you dont like this process go back to the back breaking stone work and God bless you while you do it. I did it for many years and Im done I love this process and how well it has served me. We have polymers and several proprietary products in the concrete that make it much stronger than you could believe.

  • @fuzzpool Hey fuzz pool i dont really care i am not here to argue with you as to which is better. I have not only have have had experience to know what works but I have several inventions on how to do this. if you like Rock then why are you on this video Make your own video on real rock im sure it looks great. this is an alternative and it works good for our customers and our dealers. thank you.

  • Looks great! Good job, very nice.

  • Respond to this video...

Here in NH we have extreme weather and we have been installing these walls here for years now and they have prove the test of time, but just in case you are welcome to come and kick a few tires, Ill give you the tour. Go to our web site and contract us we can oblige.

  • Respond to this video...As far as tie backs we have control joints every 35 to 40'. Better yet come up to NH or anywhere in the country and as our dealers to show you the walls they have constructed and see how many cracks there are.

  • @fuzzpool I have been a mason for more than 30 years working with real rock 3rd generation and to date i have not found any walls as strong as this process. If you knew the whole process you would understand. Rock really never binds to mortar and the psi is much greater in 2 inch slump concrete with our chemical additives. We are seeing close to 3,000 psi after only 24 hours and can get up to 70 to 80 thousand psi and more by final cure time. Best of all it is monolithic.

  • Yeah your right charge the costumer double the money he didn't have and take three weeks to do it. Lol

  • Replacing a real stone wall with concrete is nutty. The homeowner should have just had the natural stones professionally stacked.

  • @BoogieWithStew then go give him a bid and do it.... see if it is stronger and can out last the wall we put in.

  • wow, great work guys!

  • how do u keep it from setting up to fast? while still being dry enough to stack up?

    whats the recipe?

  • @crazystoneworker we have a chemical that we add to the concrete that not only helps the concrete stand up but keeps it from setting up to fast. Its an hydroscopic product that increases the psi and flexual strength.

    Call us for more info.

  • @crazystoneworker The concrete has a hydroscopic proprietary product that cures the concrete from the inside leaving to outside still workable. We also have a polymer membrane which allows the color to have a covalent bond with the embedded concrete polymer.

  • If you did real stonework you would know not to do runs and standing stones."two over one".The real thing will last forever.yours will have to be repainted. When it cracks and it will it will show all.

  • @ironhoof100 If you knew anything about the new way we do it. It will never have to be repainted. The new products we have are the image of real rock and are monolithic. I was a real rock mason for 20 years and though rock never needs to be recolored it never really adheres to cementatious products without polymers.

  • @ironhoof100As a real rock mason you can do standing stones if it is random stone and horizontal if it is stack stone. It is all up to the artist or mason.

The new products we have are stronger than the real stone walls and are monolithic. We boast of 6,000 to 8,000 PSI. Mortar doesnt even come close.

  • Mr. montoya., i have worked in construction all my life, 32 years . with concrete , and your work is ammazing!!! hats off to you and all my rspect. (Sem martinez)

  • @sshemilla Thank you for the compliment.

  • I worked with David Montoya and they have a great product that is beautiful. Any contractors looking for a profitable addition to their business this is it. Dave is a great teacher and the knowledge that he will impart will be priceless.

  • These stone walls are so incredibly deceiving I would have never known they were made out of concrete if I hadn't seen it own with my own eyes!

  • I am so pleased with Stonemakers and the beautiful and professional work that they do. I was amazed that in just a few days my 6 foot retainer wall was done and I love how they carved my walkway to look like real flagstone. These hardscapes have really transformed our home and has added so much value to it. We look forward to having the waterfall done soon.

  • Stonemakers does wonderful work! Their product and techinque is state of the art! I watched the build a patio/deck on our house is just a few hours. But it looks like it would have taken several weeks. It's that good!

  • how to build a retaining wall in a few hours, hard to believe.

  • Wow!!! A retaining wall in a few hours that sounds profitable.
