@bogeyman2452 Nothing much, really. It's just a greatsword. It has a bonus to messy deaths or whatever it's called. You know the "special kills" you get sometimes that last for like 3 seconds leaving you vulnerable.

Aha! So that's what they do! And fuck me the graphics look so much better on PC over PS3 for Origins :S and the menu is more detailed and everything and it isn't nearly as laggy. I still love it though :D

I remember playing DA, i walk, walk and... what gives that sound? I spent an hour trying to find out what this mechanism does and finally I succeeded. My friend didn't want to believe me i found a dragon there as there was nothing in solution :D

There are some weapons that can be hard to acquire, but not hidden; like Vigilance. I feel that the greatest equipment should be acquired through conventional RPG means, and not by stumbling upon some random puzzle. Though I wouldn't mind if they added just one piece of armor or a weapon that could be attained that way while also measuring up to some of the best gear. Or at least have an awesome model.

@playover17 It's called an enchantment. Acquire a runestone with lightning damage and return to camp. Then go to the dwarf merchant's son and ask for an enchantment. You can then place the rune onto the weapon you have. But be careful, not all weapons have rune slots in them. :)

In order to do that you must "Enchant" your weapon. Find a rune, by example Master Lightning Rune the go to Sandal in the Camp and ask him to enchant your weapon. Also, only weapons or armors with slots can be enchanted.

@lobsterwithwings yea. but you need a full party. if you try this with only 2 people ( the noble and the second) you will fail miserably. its a good blade, and very useful if sten is one of your top choices. i use him most with my archer after he has the juggernaught armor, as he can take a lot of punishment with that on.

Ok, not trying to sound like I'm a smartass but I found this on my first playthrough by chance, it's kinda obvious as you're walking around those rooms and hear the clunk as you walk over the pressure pads. From then on it's just a matter of finding the others and going free roam.

It's not exactly so.

Warden's set require 26 strenght and is incredibly light and heavily fortified with added stamina. Add to that Wade's perfected dragonsomething you'll have another armor requiring around 20 strenght. Dual magi/Dual rogue cleans up any field. Each character has a good set of items available, it's the mages that cost the most or simply can't be found. Most teams require two mages, and arming them properly is really a tough beat.

if you don't know how to keep your party members standing in one spot, this works for all systems, you open up the command options, Hold L2 for the PS3, not sure for the xbox 360, the go to the "Advanced" Option, then select "Hold Position"
