It did, Earthbound got a 1995 release on the Super Nintendo. Mother 3 isn't going to come to America, the Gameboy Advance was practically dead upon its release in Japan. It shouldn't get any special treatment either.

Okay here's what happened,

When Pokey ran away after Giygas died, he went through many time periods, making his pigmask army. He decided to stay in the time period where lucas was. Through the time periods, Pokey gained godlike powers and immortality. He then lost to Lucas and put himself into the absoloutley safe capsule. He'll spend the rest of eternity in there

he really can't becuase he needed the help of Dr. Andonuts and the phase distorter. THat's how he escaped in Mother 2. ALso, he escaped, I guess took Dr. Andonuts with him and forced him into making his army and Porky's own personal inventions. Some examples would be The Porky Statue, The Poky-Spiderbot, and the Porky bots. However, Dr. Andonuts decided not to help him anymore because Porky didn't listen to him when Andonuts said that Porky couldn't get out.

In m3, Andronuts built the statue before he went into the capsule. Once you beat pokey, he locks himself into it.

No, you DO find a doorknob right before fighting Porky, but the doorknob was from Lucas' House, if you start a new file you'll see it instantly when the one dude calls Flint to help put out the Fire in the woods, he rips off the doorknob.
