heyy..masturbation is not ok for males anf females in Islam..it's forbidden for both!!..but the clerik was talking about an additional cultural harm to the female in the mid-eastern socities where they consider a girl with a torn hymen at marrige as a sinful ladyy!..who deserves flogging and not killing..whereas males don't have a hymen soo only God will punish them for masturbating but it wont be evident for the society as there's no document for it..

Um, I watched the video you were "talking about" but you most seriously missed the real point.

First that Muslim cleric knows more about porn than I do. Its rather telling that the first thing he does is say, Its "o.k." for the guy to do it. He is not worried about men watching these movies that "appalled" him so much or what sort of things cause the men to want to Jack off.

I'm not there IS a deeper conversation to be had about "the dangers of female masturbation," since it's really not dangerous (unless you're going way overboard!). And, yes, I'm a parent.

But as far as the religious element, goes... sadly you can't remove its ties to the state. And they're also teachings children are forced to believe at the youngest possible age. So it's certainly dangerous both in the sense of political persecution of female sexuality, and just giving kids sexual hang-ups.
