Libraries never operate on a profit, they are a waste of tax payer funds, and being a liability to the state I wonder why do we want to keep these money pits active. Everybody who matters has the interet everywhere. The library is obsolete like the mall or brick and mortar stores.

@ToxicOdiousOne Libraries provide people with books to read that they may otherwise not be willing to purchase. They also provide services for researching topics and in most places internet access to people who would not otherwise have access.
