What some people fail to understand is that it's not the views alone that determine "youtube fame", it's a combination of the views, ratings, and possibly even the number of subscribers. You can have 100,000 views yet have a 2 or 3 star overall rating...although in this instance, you would reach what I call "youtube shame."

But i've seen too many people who were serious.

my point was, the author was role-playing as an attention seeking cat (and generally cats are attention seeking so the attitude is appropriate under the circumstances) and even if the author was channeling their appetite for fame through personification using the cat, who cares, if you thought the video was funny laugh, if not why ruin it for those who do. You can't know what the author meant and frankly i fail to see why it matters....
