Its not liquid latex, its foam latex. They are normally used once and then thrown away. A new piece is made for filming every day. The artists have molds to reproduce them.

This is the actual piece from Day of The Dead they used on Bub. They used a foam latex which is really elastic,

@zombhunt23 Howard Sherman's makeup had no bumps or tears to the face...the pieces are cast for specific actors, and will usually not fit someone else very well...these guys had the money and time to cast pieces for each individual...
