The UN mandate was for 55% of the land. In 1948 Israel expanded to 78% of the land. Over 800,000 Arabs driven from their homes. 530 villages cleansed. If it was defensive in nature, Israel would have let the refugees return. It was deliberate land theft. Any response to these comments would be appreciated.
