'We Are Penn State' began in the locker room in 1948, when Steve Shue and the rest of the Penn State squad refused to play in the Cotton Bowl. Southern Methodist University and the Cotton Bowl wouldn't allow PSU's black players in the game. Steve Shue said, "We are Penn State. We will stick together." Thank you for your ignorance cupcake. Teams that the third stringers had play time: Florida International, Buffalo, Wisconsin, and I think I saw a few against Temple.

I'd say we did pretty damn good last year in that respect. But we mostly sucked in road games. I think we win at least 10 games (counting the bowl) next year. Anyone agree with me?

In a nearby small city called Johnstown, there is a hockey team called the Johnstown Chiefs, in the second closest major city, Harrisburg, there is a minor league baseball team called the Harrisburg Senators. I loved that in 2006, the stadium was still full and as rowdy as ever during the Michigan game, forcing a bunch of penalties throughout, even though Michigan won 17-10. Our home field advantage almost won it for us.
