Some people missunderstands this majestic creature some of them missunderstand the old norse faith(and similar faiths) because of Fenris the norse never saw the wolf as any more evil than the raven both are survivors in nature!

In Ásatru we see Fenris and his brood as simply that uncontrolled rage and endless hunger wich the christians narrowed down to a saying "hungry as a wolf"!

I've never been able to completely believe that the domesticated dog comes directly from a wolf -- certain breeds, maybe, but I just can't envision a wild pack of Yorkies or Maltipoos, nor can I see them coming from the wolf. I think they're all members of the Canidae family (foxes, jackals, wolves, domestic dogs, coyotes...) Regardless, they're brilliant and majestic and most important are living beings, they should be respected not murdered.

Oh, I've gone wolf hunting about 5 times, Thier Fur makes a great coat.

I actually had one charge at me. Scariest shit you've ever seen if your ever seeing one charge you through a scope of your SPS Tactical. Even the natives there pay a pretty penny for some of those clean alaskan pelts. But I usually pack up for the hunt in early April when Conditions are the best. I love the creatures since all are gods creations. I don't shoot for the hell of it, I pay proper respects to each one.
