  • For this crescent kick is one of my fav knockout kicks I use in tkd. Its best to go all the way through for some real damage. I'd say if you snap that kick and he's still conscious, ohhh boy... Would only take your opponent a sec to respond before you drop that leg. "Don't play with him. Hit it and quit it" as I always say.

  • For good kicking experience, taekwondo can help. It helped me. now JKd is much easier to learn for myself.

  • @Ametalhead4ever TKD helped me too. Learning savate kicks was easy. :-)

  • @Ametalhead4ever Taekwondo helps with a lot of martial arts, but Taekwondo is weak.

  • @killarmy75 no way! tkd kicks are fast and hard, but I wouldn't suggest using pure tkd in a real fight. Well I wouldn't, but someone who really can work their distance can apply it.

  • i lol when ppl say theres no power in the kick. Even a weak kick can hurt if hit the right spot. I could kick slow as crap but if i hit u in the face its gonna hurt, groin its gonna hurt, knee cap its gonna hurt, if u run into it? its gonna hurt. His kick was definitly powerful, some kicks are meant to be blunt and powered others deliver a whiplash effect or burst of rapid power.

  • @hakuboshi1 Very true. Although Im having a difficult time trying to tell which kicks need the whiplash effect in order to be effective.

  • that looks almost like a twist kick.

  • wtf there is no power in that shit

  • @VikingWarCry for you my friend it has no power if you have to thinnk about the kick you lack... what are you watching this anyways?

  • @VikingWarCry in the demo no cuz he was just showing technique and a cresent isnt the mst powerful kick its just fast and a good leading kick but get caught in the chin wit one and tell methere is no power

  • @VikingWarCry Not every kick has to be a power kick.

  • @saikejo it was his favorite kick and I never said it wasnt.

  • BOOKER T MASTER OF JEET KUNE DO

  • And for the people who say " I use Bruce Lee kicks cause I'm a bad ass"; Bruce changed his kicks every single day and he used a lot more than just a few. Bruce was so good because he made himself good through his own technique after learning the basic. If you think you can just copy his kicks and be great you are wrong. It is like a pro golf player and his caddy. Sure the caddy knows how to play, but only the pro can execute it.

  • @Buhllake i thought Bruce Lee's favorite kick was the side kick?

  • Her arm went back because so pulled it back to show the full rotation of the kick, not sheer power. Plus he didn't even lean back with his kick or breathe out. I think it was just for demo purposes though.

  • Bruce Lee added elements of Muay Thai and Savate to his personal JKD. How do I know? Because Dan Inosanto, my SiFu, explained and showed us Lee's actual notebooks and research material. What Lee blended into his own JKD is different than what he taught to his students. Only Inosanto was privy to Lee's research because they were best friends. Students learned Jun Fan Gung Fu (Original JKD) but JKD isn't limited to just Gung Fu. Lee blended many more arts into his JKD!

  • no he is not like bruce lee you fuckin idiot

  • he like bruce lee

  • I have that poster! Its acually a Leonardo Da Vinci quote though.

  • Master Shifu from Kungfu Panda. >:))

  • I'm sure his assistant needed shoulder surgery after this demonstration!!

  • @TITOKJA1

Nah there is no power in that kick, I could take it to my nosebone and continue fighting.

  • It would be Lil John no?

  • i like to do a cresent follow up with a rounhouse then another cresent

  • Funny...I didnt read anything about this kick bruce lee's fighting method or the tao of jeet kune do. LOL thats because this kick telegraphs alot

  • @JKDspirit thai kicks are not in Bruce Lee's method either. Because it telegraphs. But it's good to know for the sake of knowing. I mean we worked on basic trapping in my jujutsu and TKD class. It doesn't hurt to be exposed to a wide variety of techniques. Take what works for you and discard the rest, but still know it. I can do a crescent kick, but i will never and have never used it in a fight, even in TKD. it doesnt work for me.

  • @ikcjjtt wow...i guess you are right my friend. i too know a whole load of TKD kicks, but i still only use the kicks bruce taught us xD you are wise, a good martial artist.

  • ???

  • how many times can you do it one more time? sheesh

  • miami florida hahaha youre kidding me?

  • i love the women shes too sexy to be a student ..

  • how many years you practice jeet kune do

  • @jeetkunedo96 he practice for 2 days

  • That kick would work great against a woman.

  • it angers me that this video has over 80,000 views but only 71 people liked it why dont people just like the video if they liked it and dislike if they didnt

  • dont think feeeeeel

  • How do you demonstrate a philosphy in a video?

  • even do his kick is hard it seems that that is about his max hight

  • @Jermainesmit21 how high you can kick is irrelevant .

  • HEAR YE, HEAR YE!!!!

TWAS NOT A GLORIOUS INFORMATIVE VIDEO, FOR THINE EYES WERE DISTRACTED BY A BEAUTIFUL ASS.

  • what what can somebody tell me how to do that cresent kick again cause i was concentrating on her ass the whole time.

  • @jasluvtian sry... same problem =/

  • ass 4 days on that chick....

  • Love her ass

  • y waist the speed in that step tkd has a kick very similar just eliminating the step much faster

  • @INCESSANTPK dude she does have a great ass...I can't learn shit watchin this when that is in the shot..

  • lil waynes taken up JKD hehehe

  • lol i tought its lil wayne

  • "that girl is beautiful"

Gawsh, Look At The BUTT On HER!

    B.A.N - BUTT ASS NAKED

  • The woman @ DAT ASS.

  • There is a counter for a kick like that. I won't say what it is, but you can get into major trouble doing this, that kick, against a trained martial artist.

  • @Swagaization

Absolutely right, but you wouldn't throw this unless the situation allowed. a few front kicks, followed by a round kick low, high, maybe double round kick, then crescent kick out of the blue, done right with enough surprise on your side, you could really mess someone up.

Also, in close quarters, without grappling, just in close, it's hard to even SEE this kick coming. you got a guy punching the hell at you, you keep backtracking, then hop up with this sucker? BAM! Maybe. XD

  • @iloverikku1: Perhaps you are right? He is very fast and powerful. It would be heard to read.

  • One more time after like 5 times xD

  • Thumbs up if you first saw this guy, Lil Wayne popped up in your mind.

  • Wow, pretty evil to use shoes xD

  • dude you suck.

  • Very nice and powerful kick.

  • @akjunkie Thats not quite as powerful as it could be...

  • thats a snapping outside crescent

  • lets peel those bellbottom tights off yeahhhhh

  • @bowerybaker amen brother :D

  • You wouldn't happen to have any videos on stretching the leg muscles for increased flexibility do you?

  • DUDE I WANTED TO WATCH THE KICK,BUT I COULDN'T GET MY EYES TO GO UP THAT FAR.CAN YOU SAY BOOTYLICIOUS.

  • I thought one of the principals of JKD was to keep your kicks low so you don't lose balance.

  • Christ that guy has some power in his Crescent kicks, I Just can't seem to get enough power into mine.

  • daddy(me) wants to fuck that girl's ass

  • looks buetiful, gonna go practice it :)

    thanks

  • this shit wont work in cage fighting my nigga

  • @iamhereforyou you know that theres already been mma fighters using these kind of moves in the cage for century now, fights happen so fast that most people only take note of the basics stuff.

  • @iamhereforyou well this isn't cage fighting

  • @iamhereforyou Hell yeah it would, if it was done by Bruce Lee. Him, he'll make anything work!

  • Knowing is not enough, we must apply.

WIlling is not enough, we must do.

  • @Klostradorez and remember kids, knowing is only half the battle!

  • why is lil wayne teaching that? ......lol..... :D just kiddin

  • @hentaiby lol i wonder the same thing

  • @sharinganWS mysteries of life .........

  • hahahaha lollll tha was meannn

  • i kno!! At first, i thought it was him too!!! xDD

  • @hentaiby actually im pretty sure its lil waynes dad haha jk

  • @hentaiby cus hes badass lol

  • Why stepping back again? You have to close the gap again before yoy can trough another punch or kick to stop the attacker.

  • @soheppi2b Um maybe because you need balance and stance first.

  • @odin23581 You are balanced when you step in instead of stepping back, with the benefit of the opportunity for a follow up with at least two more techniques to overcome the attacker.

  • If the person is as fast as you and you engage them without proper form their hands will be in a position to strike before yours. That and the fact that your face is moving towards them as you place your foot down. Now if the kick fucks them up that's different, but not every time it will. If it does you need to spar with someone better. Automatically charging without form regardless of your opponent is just illogical, hence this is my last comment, if you disagreed I'd just repeat myself.

  • @odin23581 I wonder if the kick you perform in this video will have the effect you wish it will have? I never ever will use such a kick. Bruce Lee himself wasn't a person who would teach you to kick above the midsection of the body. Atleast i never was tought this in JKD in Holland where i live. Thank you for your comment.

  • Now you're changing the subject. :) It's situational. For example your opponent throws a front kick, you sidestep and crescent kick. Then you step back. From there you might be able to do a spinning back kick.

  • And here's Bruce Lee doing an inside crescent kick. watch?v=7nNU4wmJac4

  • @soheppi2b maybe because it's a demonstration not a fight?

  • hehe one more art martials battle type hope help me

  • This technique isn't all that strong of a kick to start with and the way he's throwing it seems like what power you could kick in it wouldn't be there. Most crescent kicks i've seen when you throw the kick you loop the leg up and continue through the point of impact and bring your foot down at the end of the kick. This guy stops the kick at impact then just recoils the leg to the starting point. Her arm movement after impact is her moving her arm not him driving the mitt back.

  • u don't need to be fancy for jeet kune do, its all about speed power accuracy and intercepting with ones attacks

  • what name email de su she alumna :)

  • what is with him and saying one more time lol

  • this isnt jeet kune do at all this "dwight woods" would never hear me call him sifu :@

  • yearofthehorse2049.... very true... i agree with u. its not for a show Zamanabbas,

  • whats up with all these negative comments? if the vid does what its supose to do which is inform, which it did, move on with ur life and say good job

  • leave the kid alone. he is only one JKD student. Not all behalve like this.

  • hell ya jkd owns and plus jkd kinda different u do seem kick with lead leg tkd u ussually do with rear like hook is roundhouse kick but lead leg

  • yur english is killin me

  • who gives a fuck

  • retarded..... u futurefighter!!

  • nice dude and its true. actually if uve heard from any old masters of say wing chun or eastern martial arts they say that martial arts moves if done correctly aren't meant to look nice, theyll look ugly as hell but be very effective. One of bruce's master i think reffers to this as well in one of bruce's documentaries or i think mind body and kick ass moves minght have him as well.

  • @thefuturefighter good point, nevermind the haters. IF it works it works, fuck all the bollocks. Kata is for fashion lovers, but fighting aint a fucking runway show.

  • @thefuturefighter: I agree with you my friend. it's not how the kick looks, but how powerful the kick is.

It's kind of funny that someone with a contradictory point will be thumbed down even if it's a valid point

  • why would you want to kick and hold your leg up in the air ? so you can be grappled if you miss the kick? hmm

  • listen u fucking monkey all this garbage wont work in waziristan pakistan, over there you wont be able to walk 5 metres without fainting.

  • in my style that kick is called a broken foot kick i showed it to grandmaster and he laughed at me all u have to do is turn ur hips and actually retract and u have a impact kick

  • why wouldnt you just hook kick seems like itd be alot more effective and you wouldnt be using a bad striking point on your foot

  • This kid sucks dicks for karate lessons.

  • That kick is pretty hard but he makes it look easy.

Jeet Kune do is great but I am not to crazy of how stretched out the stance seems to be...

  • the point of finding "what works best for you", because everyone's body type is different and expresses themselves differently, is using what fits "you". Not fitting yourself into a rigid style, its like saying a uniform doesn't make you fight better pretty much.

  • damn she is sexy as hell. look at that ass!

  • angle kick in TKD.

  • thus girl is hoot !!!!!!!!

  • what an beautiful young women I wonder who she is can someone tell me who she is ?

  • I was thinking along the same lines. I wanna start JKD there too :D

  • this dude dont look so strong but his impacts always sound like a brick hittin kittens

  • lol word...

  • Gua-Tek

  • All the Jeet Kune Do videos you see with this guy are phony. Please do not take any of his "Jeet Kune Do" as legitimate.

  • JKD is an idea not a style dumbass, but this guy sucks.

  • "i do not believe in styles"-Bruce Lee

  • exactly

  • ^_^

  • Thats how jeet kune do was formed. unintentionally became his own style. it is inevitable.

  • He can still beat you up "Jeet Kune Do" or not. >.>

  • What does that even mean? I was talking about Jeet Kune Do, not the ability to "beat up" somebody. The fact is, this guy is demonstrating the art improperly. Get your facts straight.

  • Dratix, you are stupid. Look up Sifu Dwight Woods credentials and lineage for training and please crescent kick yourself in the head.

  • That just shows how much of an idiot you are. I don't care what his "credentials" are, he is executing the techniques improperly. If you're going to teach Jeet Kune Do as a style, teach it properly. Dan Woods is a moron. Find any other reputable Jeet Kune Do artist who teaches the same (improper) methods.

  • ok then how do YOU teach it "jeet kune do master of dicks"?

  • What did you guys expect, it's MIAMI!!!! Hot asses!!!

  • im getting horny cuz of her ass wow i wanna kiss it

  • without the girl in this clip.. it wouldnt get so many views.. nice butt btw

  • @DJtheNigel are you kidding me? You are damn right, I actually made a playlist of all the vids with her in them and I'm faving them.

  • i looked up Jeet Kune Do on wikipedia be4 i saw dis video n Bruce Lee sed not 2 use high kicks. he sed sumthin about reducing the time it takes 2 execute a kick by kicking wut is closest 2 your legs.

  • High kicks are still used in times of opportunity.

But you're right, the 'expert' should stress that height is relative to how tall the kicker is/what he/she wants to accomplish.

  • that girl has a amazing ass

  • hell yeah. good eye, lol

  • how can u miss that ass right

  • i'd like to see her throw a kick, hee, hee

  • Really? Her loose fit top really spoils the beautiful lines of her ass. I wish I could see her nice ass. btw the kick looks really nice. but how can it be used tactically?

  • she could use the kick to get me in bed

  • oh yea i forgot his name is dan inosanto and it was not him but his student, he's a well known filipino teacher of empty hand kali or filipino boxing his name is rick young and he learned from inosanto who was friends and trained with bruce lee when he lived

  • you will see this when you watch bruce's pal and partner developer of the jeet kune do system before and after bruce's death fought in filipino boxing or PANANTUKAN and adopted as much of wing chun as bruce from panantukan. he would go on to teach the latest batman christian bale how to filipino box for the dark night and batman begins. filipino is a real style for the street and mma!

    learn every style, cheers.

and i thumbed up the comments about the girl. lighten up hahaha we're only human

  • jeet kune do is not wing chun. jeet kune do is about learning everything cause ignorance is the real enemy! if you know every technique not only can you apply them in the right situations at the right time but you will also learn to defend yourself against them. i am not a jeet kune do student but i firmly believe this is what bruce lee taught and i have learned as much as i could about the martial arts

  • JKD is about daily decrease, not learning everything.

  • daily decrease? please elaborate, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt but i think you have no idea

  • You are not a JKD student and you think you can tell me that I have no idea? It's people like you who have no understanding of JKD, are not a student and think you can tell people you know what it is. Since I don't have patience for people like you and you said an unnecessary comment, I will tell you quickly. True Jeet Kune Do is not about having fifty different ways to punch, but having as many ways as possible to use the best punch!

  • hahaha i have studied martial arts it doesn't matter if i know jeet kune do or not. bruce lee studied the martial arts not jKD and yet he INVENTED IT. besides how can i be sure you are an actual JKD student? can you prove this to me? a lot of people on the internet say a lot of things at least i am not posing as a student when i tell you my theory, and in fact i might be mistaken, but i'd like a proven jkd practicioner to prove me wrong

  • Like I said, you don't even know what JKD is. How can you tell me that I'm wrong and you haven't even studied JKD? I'm not too sure what you mean about theory but JKD isn't about learning everything. I'm just saying that JKD is about daily decrease, Bruce wanted to simplify techniques as much as possible because why use something that was unnecessary? The more techniques you know, the more you'll have to think in a real situation instead of having techniques that will work in many scenarios.

  • because a fighter has to change, and not be predictable, there will always be things that will break systems and cause a loophole. in the words of ricardo arona, real life mma star; "wanderlei silva lost because he became predictable, and jackson had studied his fights so it was easy for him picking his game apart, if you fight in every fight the same way you are lost, you are going nowhere"

that was in an interview to a seminar he did to the police of rio de janeiro just last week

  • You need to have experience in JKD my friend. It's not about fighting in a ring using feints, it's about attacking the vital areas and ending the fight as soon as possible. The longer the fight goes on, the less your chances are of surviving. If you're talking about a sport, where your opponent can watch you fight, knows your techniques etc. then you need to unpredictable. You can still be unpredictable in JKD.

  • i am talking about striking the head here, pretty much every time in every example i've said, the brazilian kick, the 1, 2. the roundhouse combo, the spinning backfist and the tornado kick are all aimed to the (vital) head

  • The head is not as vital as other areas. Yes you can get knocked out if you're hit hard enough, but it doesn't take as much force to hyper extend the kneecap, rupture the testicles and gouge the eyes. I'd much rather get punched in the head then have my testicles ruptured or my eyes gouged.

  • i have been kicked in the nuts, more times than i'd like to admit. no knockout, especially because i wore some baggy pants in the past but it was futile nonetheless, i won those fights

  • the eye gouging you are right about. but that's also the head? so my point is valid, you could to most techniques i said but with your nails sticking out couldn't you? yes

  • The way you train is the way you fight. It's as simple as that.

  • @mazdaplz good point. Oh yeah Arona, I heard that name once.

ANyway, I think Bruce was teaching for self defense, not for sport fighting and so I doubt muggers are going to tape their attacks on people and then watch them to study for when the next mugger attacks the same mark. Just a thought.

  • not pull up master

  • The way Bruce did JKD, he never tried to learn a million different techniques, he studied various martial arts so he could find ways to beat them using his JKD. What proof would you need that I'm a JKD student exactly?

  • notice how he is teaching that diversity is good to the police officers, and they will apply that to the streets. listen i am not trying to be a pain in the ass really i am not a troll but i think that's what bruce lee meant on one of his quotes, maybe i can dig it up. some people believe he would have been oposed to the modern tkd because he was a true eclectic. know what i mean?

  • if you keep the enemy guessing it's much easier to knock them out in a momentary lapse of reason. that's the theory behind all the spinning strikes in taekwondo and muay thai really and the basis of some wushu schools like zui quan

  • that's also the principle of the dirty boxing of floyd mayweather and even zab judah

  • more? ok, is also the principle behind the wing chun stomp to the knee that jabs at the same time, and the brazilian kick, and the bolo punch which fedor emelianenko and chuck lidell use. and even the old 1, 2 of boxing (which uses fake jabs to make the enemy guess when the big right is going to come) and the quick hip rotation of muay thai is to keep them on their toes constantly

  • nice ass from girl
