Fellow Sarah Morgann fans(she's the singer on this very cool video), I just found a new music video of hers. It's for this song, "Fallen World," and it is so awesome! Her Channel on here has some blog-y vids on there, too. I'm so excited!! It won't let me post the link, but her user name is TheSarahMorgann.
This is great. I have included it as one of the songs to be played at my departure from this earth. 53 years of marriage and I would hope the dream would go on.
@pettyduo1957 God bless you, partner, don't forget to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior before you go. "Jesus, be my Lord.", it's that simple, just beleive it and say it, and I'll see you in heaven. =)
I debated whether or not to delete this comment, but I will reply.
Yes, I know Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram are the original performers, I simply forgot the film that is came from, I never said "little mouse song" I said "mouse movie" which is not an insult it is about a mouse...
I wrote that blurb over a year ago, it is meant to be a quick video overview and name the artist covering the song (again I do realize that this song is cover of the classic one despite my youth and ignorance).
@jeff 5761: The song is from the 1986 movie An American Tail. It was written by James Horner(and two other writers) for the movie and was meant to describe the relationship between Fievel and Tanya Mousekewitz and their hope of a reunion. Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram did the song for the closing credits and radio release in conjunction with the movie release. And if you didn't know that, I do feel sorry for you and your insulting comment. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
I got this song off of iTunes so it is copyrighted and I can't share it-sorry; however, you should be able to find it on itunes. The artist is Sarah Morgann and the album is Cantatrice. Hope that helps!
Wow!!!! That is the first time i've cried over a Rose/10 videos in ages!! Years maybe even!!! The song, the video......they just fit.....PERFECTLY!!!! BRAVO!!!!
I found a version sung by Sarah Morgann, its just gorgeous. I found it on itunes when I was searching for various versions and just fell in love this this one.
This is good. I've never seen Dr. Who, I was just looking for a good version of this song to add to a playlist. Your music video makes me actually want to see the show. ^_^
The song is very sweet... where did you find this version? The one in the movie was sung by a much younger girl. The thing that made me sad was when she sang about being beneath the same sky, yet they can't have even that anymore, being in different universes... sniff.
i had to look around to find a version i really liked. i knew i wanted to use this song, but the only ones i could find were from the movie or 80s-fied versions. so i just looked the song up on itunes, b/c lots of people cover it, and i found this version and i fell in love with it!
i also think this version makes the lyrics all the more poignant too. :)
Very, very well made. I especially loved the clips from The Girl in the Fireplace, as they fit so well.
