  • This is brilliant-lovely artist

  • yep one big schoolboy fancy ! such a sexy low register voice mmmm ! x

  • one sexy chick

  • YES, SHE HAD 2 CHILDREN. THE FIRST SON (ITHINK MATTHEW WAS HIS NAME) FROM HER FIRST MARRIAGE (HE'D BE IN HIS 30'S) AND ANOTHER SON SAM FROM HER SECOND MARRIAGE. SHE WAS ONE OF THE MOST ATTRAVTIVE GIRL SINGERS OF THE LATE 60'S AND EARLY 70'S.

  • I saw her live in Aviemore in the 1970's and fell in love with her then and am still in love with her

  • I saw her in Avimore in 1970 and fell in love with her then and i am still in love with her

  • This was a massive hit in Australia around 1969. Nice to see who sung it... Clodagh Rodgers is a spunky chic.

  • Classic.

  • Another Johnny Worth song, he is still alive, wrote a lot of Adam Faiths songs, also recorded for Embassy records.

  • wow that's cool song

  • What they used to call a 'dolly bird', before political correctness ruined everything.....

  • Did Clodagh ever have any kids ?

  • she always looked like she likes a drink or 2 and a fag or 2

  • @MickeyLove01 ???????

  • @sunnsight you don't understand the comment? jeez....

  • What an independent lady. So natural and genuine. Those were the days when romance was real

  • If you use Facebook, I've started a group for him under the name Kenny Young Appreciation Society - some of his personal friends have joined it. :)

  • This a fucking great song....end of.

  • gorgeous babe

  • The guy who wrote and produced this song also wrote "Under The Boardwalk", as well as "S-S-S-Single Bed". The song was also re-done in 1999 by Mint Royale and sampled her voice for the chorus.

  • god she was so sexy!!!!!!!!!!

  • The Sixties when girls looked like girls, and wanted to be treated like girls

  • I'd rather not say what effect she had on parts of me - but I'm sure you'll get my drift....................:-) So sexy, so gorgeous, so iconic! :-)

  • I never realised how funky and cool she looked in her earlier years. As a kid I just recall her from Eurovision and occasional appearances on shows such as Cliff Richard.

  • Thanks for posting this, I had a crush on her , I was 13 at the time, I had good taste then:-)

  • 1969 yeh i remember this sarcasticly cheers for upload makes me feel old.

  • So video's were around longer than I touught

  • great song by Clodagh

  • A lovely track from a lovely lady, although I was around when it first came out (I was 5 at the time) I didn't hear it until the early 1980s on Radio Jackie, a pirate radio station then. Whenever I hear it I always turn the radio up full volume.

  • Fantastic song and vintage video clip! It is so uplifting!!!

  • I always loved this song and the video here only enhances it, despite a few glitches in the audio. I much prefer this to the live BBC version.

  • lol this video kind of made me hornyif ur reading this and bored AK

  • My lovely mum!

  • yep

  • I haven't heard this song since 1969.

    So glad I found youTube!

  • She lived in Willesden in the same flats as my grandparents, she was really friendly, my Gran gave her an autograph book to get me autographs and she did, loads, that was really nice of her.

    I hope she is ok.

  • why did she vanish after her Eurovision entry? I lady love bug as a young gay lad in Liverpool and I believe it would be a great remix now, so come on Clodagh get remixing your back cat. Its time we heared from you agaiN,our Cilla did it a few years back its your turn now....love and stuff xxxxx

  • Eurovision is not always kind to singers, especially if the song is bad, as was Jack In The Box; I mean, Boom Bang a Bang and all that. Rubbish, bandwagon stuff after Puppet On A String's success. It did the lovely Clodagh no favours but yes, COME BACK and shake us Clobbdy Robdob, as one joker DJ affectionately called her.

  • Clodagh was the perfect example of poor management combined with ineffective record promotion and, as 1960sbabe says, poor choice of music. Regretably you couldn't tell her people anything. What a loss!!

  • This is great! Looks like one of those TOTP inserts from the pre vid age. I'm surprised it survived. What a babe.

  • Yes where has the website gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

went on to clodaghs website and it has been closed down why!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • She is a real babe!

  • i have just been on the clodagh rodgers website to find and see it has closed why!!!!!

it was a great site for us fans of clodagh or has it moved please can anyone help

  • A mate in the UK just sent me a CD for my birthday called a Time to Remember, with hits from 1969 (the year I was born). Must admit I'd never heard of her before (I'm not British) and the first time I heard the song on the CD, I thought, "God, feminists must have hated this!" But seeing the video, I have to say she was really cute looking and the song was pure 60s. Nice to know she had (still has?) a successful career and many hits. Cheers to anyone else born in 69!! My kids liked this, too.

  • Great song and period video clip!

  • look i was a kid in the sixties and boy did us boys like her, so if you were not around poor you

  • What's up with the cameraman in this video? He's all over the bloody shop.

  • Because of YouTube, Clodagh Rodgers is more than a Monty Python joke Stateside.

  • No wonder Simon Dee liked her, who wouldn't have liked her for a girlfriend in the 1960's she was lovely, a real sexy sixties chick..takes me back to a great time in my life, thanks so much for posting!

  • Best legs in the Business then. Only pair to rival them was my girlfriend at that time, Oh where are you Catherine Stewart coz I Love You

  • my nans cousin!

  • I had a teenage crush on Clodagh...I was 16 at the time and her sexy voice gave me the adolescent shivers

"quote; My sleeves are undone, my buttons are loose, my make up is starting to fade away; unquote" God, she was sex personified. I´m obviously a lot older now, but just listening to that track on You Tube sends me back to the first stirrings of "what? Girls can sound as sexy as that?" Deal me in.

  • Jason King probably had this song on eight-track in his E-type Jag!! What a groovy clip, I love it!! lol

  • found the sheet music , didn;t know song now i love the song and the singer is so beautiful.

  • Hey this song is really fun!

I love her mischievous smile and twinkly eyes.

She reminds me just a little of Natalie Horler (Cascada).

  • God utube has got evrything on it ! I always sing this bit, My room is my house, my bed is my home, my pillows my friend, my only friend, your old baby darling, your raggedy doll, is waiting 4 u 2 play again ! Love it, Love it, Love it ! Thanku, thanku, thanku !

  • I was 12 - and in love (yes, with Clodagh!) and there, dear, sensitive people, we should leave it! LOL

  • wow she was sex on legs

  • I loved this woman so much I sent her a Christmas card to Clodagh rogers, London.... but then I was 7 and in love!

  • wow i was 9 i remember this singing it with my friends brilliant, what happened to her. i liked anita harris as well there was a song she sang ,long time gone can,t remember

  • I think the song you were thinking about was a number call "just loving you" by Anita Harris. Fantastic voice.

  • Such a nice looking girl and a catchy song, perfect combination!

  • Another fab' reminder of Clodagh's golden talent....definitely looking out for her CD's when I'm next in Britain.

  • Wow this takes me back! Thankyou so much for posting this! Bought back so many fond memories. Love the song! love the lady! love everything about this clip!

  • great seeing this video this was the song that started it all off for her she really was one sexy lady thanks

  • This makes me proud to be irish. :)

  • What's this got to do with Madeline Bell?

  • cos Madeline Bell was a backing singer on this song

  • That was fun!

  • A great pop song from the 60's. Thanks for making this available to view.
