I've never actually had a problem with the watermelon shine. The thing is, the red cataquacks are stunned if you jump on them while they're on sand, so just avoid the grass and it's not that hard. Also, you can use FLUDD to very gently nudge the watermelon on the boardwalk to the restaurant.

So, FLUDD is like Fi, in being a sidekick that has a robotic way of speaking, is strapped to your back and tells you things you already know, or don't care about. Shadow Mario is, first off, a shadow version of Mario (Gee, I wonder if that's been done in another series before?), and has a tongue like Ghirahim, and kidnaps the princess. And, I don't even know the entire plot of Sunshine as of yet. I wonder if there's any more similarities?

Chugga, i have an explanation for the Shine Sprite Contest at Gelato Beach. DPD (Delfino Police Department) probably gave some Shine Sprites to certain people and when the Shine Sprites fled, the people probably thought that Mario, who was supposed to be collecting the Shine Sprites, so they were going to give away the Shine Sprites, probably because they dont like the police, so they thought they could get Mario in trouble for not getting the Sprite, but Mario ended up winning te contest. There

I know i'm a little late to say this but there is an easy trick to beat the watermelon stage. Use the dunebuds to kill the cataquacks.

I just want to say that you can permanently kill cataquacks on the beach by leading them to dune buds, spraying the enemy, and then activating the dune bud. You have to get them real close to the dune bud, though, and you can't do anything about the cataquacks near the sandbird's tower.

Yeah you want to know a easy way to get rid of cataquacks, they are killable, what you have to do is lead one on a dunebud, spray it while its on the dunbud, it will send the cataquack flying up and then they splat on the ground and die, makes my life easy
