alright, so sainthood is magic and i love the progression they constantly make, its wonderful and yeahh yeah etc. we obviously listen because we like them.

but i enjoy their records when they're suffering. hah...not that i want them to suffer but lyrically and emotionally- its there for me. this song is a beautiful example. sorry sainthood, i love ya but the con is irreplacable. :) ha

i loved this song the first time i heard it. i was sad that they didn't play it live as often because it's "not a fan favorite" according to tegan.i seem to be more inclined to "heart-broken tegan" songs more from the con. she didn't write a slow melancholy song at all in sainthood. she has a real knack for it though. when she writes with that much emotion, it really translates to the audience/listener.

I think Soil Soil is one of Tegan's best songs, it's so well written and intense.. so I was happy they chose to play it during the concerts I attended. I was a bit disappointed that there were no ballad-type songs on Sainthood, but the album is great nonetheless.

i love that interview wherein tegan says that she sent sara soil soil and it was 3 minutes long and when sara sent it back saying she liked it, it was only a minute and 20 seconds or something and she thought the file got corrupted or something.XD

i find it amusing that tegan's so smug about her lindsey victory. haha.

sainthood scared me a bit during the first 15 seconds of arrow, but i warmed up to it.=D

yeah! everything's better through the stereo. I was extra shocked because i got my bundle 2 days before the release of sainthood. i internalized the books from 9pm to 6am while listening to the album. haha. i STILL haven't found a good frame for my inkblot.

Hehe you're welcome! There's more coming, so this is just the first concert! I wasn't at the awkward concert, it was the one before the first I attended. It was in The Hague (I think it's called?), which is in Netherlands, and apparently they were really quiet since they wanted to hear what Tegan and Sara were saying, hehe.

I better subscribe! Banters are the best parts! I've never been to a concert though. They seem to be avoiding Ireland, prob because it's too expensive and the crowd are very rowdy! The crowds in Sweden and Western Europe seem to be very polite though.

Do so! They did say in an interview that they wanted to visit Ireland and there's a possible Europe tour coming next summer, but nothing official yet, sadly. They seem to like Sweden, they keep coming back, and the Stockholm concert were one of their favorites this time in Europe.
