  • hihi ich bin eine gummi puppe

  • at 0:58 is why you wear a helmet

  • carnage

  • I will always where my helmet from now on

  • Boasson Hagen is just cruising through

  • @snufte I know it looks like boasson, but it was flecha. He was damn lucky :)

  • @jakobkv7 oops. my bad. They have a very similar riding style

  • I have no problems with Cavendish, but it was obviously his fault.

  • @thisisobvious Haussler is just looking straight down at his front wheel! Cav and Petacchi are actually paing attension to whats going on around them. Not so obvious i think

  • hihi kommt jemand aus berlin

  • lol hab was geiles entdeckt haha

  • freire was showing brilliant braking.

  • cavendish's fault!

  • Thumbs up if you think cycling is the worlds greatest, toughest and most demanding sport

  • Cavendish was the only rider crossing

  • @SuperOlds88 ur stupid to not see haussler coming across

  • @leafsfan234 yeah, your right, I clearly see it now, you are stupid

  • @SuperOlds88 your a fucking retard who knows nothing about cycling so stfu

  • @leafsfan234 you know when I ass fucked your mother, she told me she had a son that was an asshole.

  • @SuperOlds88 im sorry if i offended you but hassuler is as much at fsult as cavendish is they both left their lines which caused the crash

  • I think neither completly blameless but no one would do that delibaretly as your as likely to seriously injure yorself as anything else

  • LOL the AG2R driver in the back is sleeping :D

  • fat to thin in 76 months stuartjbutler.blog.com/

  • might be cavendish going off his straight line, Haussler looked at his front wheel.....

  • I'm a fan but this was on Cavendish all the way lol

  • cavendish his folt in my opinion.... it´s not against him but.....

  • hahahaha epic wipeout! fuckin sick!

  • omg that was AWESOME :D

  • Its not cavendish fault, my apoligies. Are you fucking stupid? typical englishman defending the only british talent ever seen lol you can see hes breaking his line of sprint, driving across the entire road trying to block ciolek dumfuck.

  • @ThirdClick this was in 2010 mate, get over it and stop crying.

  • MARK CAVENDISH FOREVER

  • i hate cavendish.,

  • @Emilsk8t Don't cry.

  • lol

  • QUE SAKA DE MADRE,,,VESTIA...DEBE ADOLECER ESTAR A PUNTO DE GANAR Y TERMINAR EN EL SUELO

  • And that kids, is why Cavendish is hated by a lot of people in the peloton.

  • 0:40 "It wasn't Cavendish's mistake?"

He behaved like a blittering idiot!

  • And that kids, is why we wear helmets.

  • @daavq helmet don't make a lot of difference at that speed from a full on impact tho, only avoids scrapes, in fact it could damage your neck due to the rotation as the helmet grips the ground. Look at the vid in full screen, at least 3 riders helmets (incl Cav) hit the ground, if they hadn't of been wearing one their heads would have missed the ground completely. Helmets are only tested to around 12-13mph impact, less than your head hitting the ground when you trip walking! Why risk it!

  • @ynotnilknarf39 You're really saying that their heads would not have hit the ground at 40-50km/h in such a crash? Are you serious?

  • @hittheground That's also funny because of my username.

  • @hittheground The speed is irrelevant (do motorcyclists always hit their heads @150km/h? angle of the body when falling, neck muscles & reaction times are more important than speed. Look at the head relevant to the ground the only reason they hit is due to the extra circumference of the helmet The neck muscles still hold the head above the ground (a natural reaction) without a helmet 3 would not have hit . Wearing a helmet doesn't offer a significant amount of protection if any

  • @ynotnilknarf39 Are u serious ? Look at Haussler... he would hit the ground anyway...

  • @ynotnilknarf39 Are you joking? take a look at Cioleks head at 1:02, without his helmet that would have definitely hit the ground. And take a look at Hinault (i think it was) the AG2R rider that does a summersault. Surely you cant tell me that a helmet offered no protection?

  • LOL@Flecha, the Ag2R guy in the left, the random Garmin rider in the right and, of course, in the irony that Cavendish causes the crash and actually the only injured is Haussler

  • Cavendish cross the fair limit...

  • brunokitos, where did you were when the Lord bestowed intelligence on humanity? I bet you do not even know how to use a bycycle. And by the way, why don't you fuck off? You bloody envious idiot!

  • this is the rough and tumble of bike racing........ hardcore biking if i ever heard it haha

  • Damn did you Cavendish wheel?

  • If you actually watch carefully Haussler is the one that leans in to Cavendish so i think Haussler is more at fault then Cav is!

  • Comment removed

  • Look at Flecha at 0:18!

  • Look how Cavendish 'bounces out', he really drives slalom, so he deserved this crash...he puts other riders in danger like no one else does!

  • petacchi is allways the same lucky bastard

  • Looks like at least 3 of them made good use of their helmets.

  • dude Cavendish got run over lol

cant wait TDF 2011 - new teams and Armstrong is out!

  • How did the guy in the black and white escape at 0:33??? So lucky haha

  • Comment removed

  • The best part was whiney Cavendish getting a kidney shot from Boonen's wheel.

  • see how his front wheel just detroys itself? yeah he is a pro and didnt pay for them...but it makes me wonder how sturdy they are...

  • @sprintbass pretty sure an aluminium wheel would have done the same. no tiny road wheel is meant to turn sideways at 45 mph and be driven into the ground. I ride a carbon bike with carbon wheels, and have put over 5,000 miles on all of it. Carbon is tough as shit. I have even bottomed out at 30+ on potholes. no problems.

  • look at all the little carbon pieces

  • @0:22 blue guy on right away from the crash decides to attack the wall to not feel left out

  • If you look at the AG2R rider at 1:16, he sits up and takes in a breather without realizing what happened. The moment he looks up, its over for him

  • I hate Cavendish anyway......gobber....full of it.....

  • Didn't Haussler actually SHOVE Cav over? That's what I see when I watch this -- and that is what caused the crash. Watch it again. three times.

  • The AG2R guy seemed a lot more oblivious to the crash then anyone else! lol.

  • LOL. THE DUDE ON THE LEFT LOOKS LIKE A CHICKEN ON HIS BIKE. HIS HEAD GOING BACK AND FORTH LOLOLOL

  • type in "ski crashes" in the youtube search box and click the video with stars on it to see the wickedest crashes ever

  • That AG2R cycler made a salto :D!

  • Definitely a fan of Cav but I think this was his fault.

  • gosh cavendish always with the mistakes he's up.

  • clearly Cavendish's fault. Haussler was just going forward and then Cavendish blocked for Ciolek and goes right in Haussler

  • damn thats like opening your car door and jumping out while driving down the road. these guys are tough as nails

  • Well...I respect your opinion.

  • look at 1:14 at cav's front wheel lol

  • Download with Karbon for Firefox and play the first instance of the crash with VLC at 0.12x original speed. You'll see Haussler deliberately barging Cavendish and the resulting mayhem. You'll also see Cav's front wheel deforming and springing back to shape! All said, what's done is done and in my opinion despite Haussler's barge, Cavendish should have picked a better line. Play with VLC at 2x speed lighten things up a bit! :D

  • @electrostomper247 Thanks, at the moment of impact Haussler clearly shoulder charges Cavendish, Cav gets blamed for this just cos he has a reputation, and of course I know he's not whiter than white here, like you said he should ve picked a better line and this couldve been avoided.

  • 0:35 i like how boonen (belgian jersey) rides in cavendish his back

  • Now to anyone who says anything about how Cav and Haus got to their positions, it is called a kick out when a rider goes to the outside (Cav goes from barrier to middle and Haus goes around rider in blue to middle) and then returns around. It makes them go further and most riders prefer not to do it. So both are at fault. It is a pro sport and stuff happens. Only UCI can handle the outcome so stop your pointless bickering. thanks and have a nice day.

  • I would think both are at fault. To anyone who says Cav can't race or sprint go and watch his TdF sprints. and you wouldnt be pro if you wernt good. But if your going to completely blame Cav remember this. Cav was religated in the TdF '09 for going from left to right infront of or near someone in a sprint. the way I see it Haus went around the rider in light blue and came from the left into Cav's sprint.

  • @pauk182 Well spotted, thanks.

  • Cavendishs fault! He moved across at least twice as far as haussler, he did not hold his line. I hope he was relegated

  • It sure looks like their front wheels made contact first. Cav's wheel is run over and folds. Brutal. These guys are tougher than I'll ever be.

  • thats why you dont be a fag and ride road bikes... if they were real men and road mountain bikes they would have no trouble riding over their fellow competitors

  • @ainsleywainsley I guess mountain riders are fags too because my friends and I all ride both. Since we ride road we must be fags according to you, and since we are fags and we ride mountain, mountain riders must be fags. Making you a fag.

  • @anduiza4892 well seeing as you ride both you obviously arent a serious rider so... stfu

  • @ainsleywainsley So because somone rides bothe mountain and road they aren't serious riders....Then Lance is a non-serious rider because he rides both....

  • @blzeye87 just because you can ride 2 different kinds of bikes dusnt mean you are capable at doing anything on them that they are built for, i guarantee you that lance armstrong cant go 30km/h down a dirt trail on a mountain whilst doing jumps and riding along 30cm wide wooden ramps up in the trees. so once again stfu cos you have no idea what ur talking about

  • @blzeye87 Ya your right I dont have a clue...Oh wait I am a cat 1 roadie pushing points for pro and I race cat 2 mountain....Oh and the fact that I race against Lance in one of his come back mountain bike races...So shut your fucking mouth you amature little fuck!!!

  • @ainsleywainsley wow your truely retarted

  • @leafsfan234 and you truly have no life... who the fuck reads like 10 pages of comments u fucking gimp

  • Who's the Sky rider that threaded the needle right in between Haussler an Cav?

  • Comment removed

  • Cavendish is an idiot. He was sprinting like a drunk man.

  • @gert1nl is you actually watch the video you will see that Cavendish is holding his line, its the sides of the track that are moving, Hausler is the one coming into Cav

  • @Jakeieboy1990 I watched the video several times but stay by my opinon.

  • Looks like Haussler's wheel rode up on Cav's wheel causing it to fold up and taking everyone down. It doesn't look like them leaning on each other was the cause of the crash.

  • this is fackin crazy man

  • haussler grabs his helmet and puts it on properly, that's some quick thinking.

  • That looks very awfull ö man...

  • Cavendish moves over the road for no obvious reason but Haussler bumps him with his arm. I'd say it is mostly Cavendish's fault but Haussler's arm was unnecessary.

  • The rider at 0:21 flipped upside down...

  • Cavindick

  • All Cavendishs fault!

  • Cavendish doesn't even know how to ride a bike.

  • It is one of the hardest sports in the world. And they are tougher than male footballers. As cav took five stage wins at the tour de France after this crash.

  • omfg this is horrible

  • Love the "sky"-rider in black that goes through the mist of crashed riders!! HAHA

  • its very hard to quickly turn away from a collision at high speeds...

  • How the hell is this not Cavendish' fault? I can't believe people argue about this. You can clearly see him going to the left when he passes the other cyclist and then he bumps into Haussler. Haussler is the one that did nothing wrong.

  • @qnapsack99999999 Fact is there is no way that Haussler is blameless. When they contact Cavendish is already in front. And Haussler did swing across as well. But I do wonder why once Cav hit the front he didnt just take the straightest line to the finish and stay wide. He would have almost certainly won the sprint and not ended up on the ground. Both are at fault.

  • @mrwasbesonders Man it's clear(at least for me) that Ale-Jet was going to win the stage, not cavendish.

  • @mrwasbesonders he sways from side to side so much while sprinting he one didnt mean to go into the middle or did so to try stop hitting the barrier

  • @mrwasbesonders Cav was solely at fault!!! Cav was so reckless in that finsh. In fact, Cav almost caused a crash at 10 sec too. Cav saw Haussler move up and Cav panicked! Haussler...nice strait line.

  • @givemetoast Irrespective of who took a straight line and who didn't, (and by the way Haussler definitely didn't either) at the critical point, the moment of impact, Haussler leans into Cavendish who is already ahead. As I said before BOTH are at fault.

  • Doideira este tombão!

  • i love cavendish ?

  • ferme ta gueule

  • the front wheel touches the posterior wheel

  • It WAS CAVENDISH's fault...

  • @Tunsberg93 No way. Mr Polka dots cut across from the other side. Cav was clear, was not his fault.

  • @mrwasbesonders Why did all the god damn cycling expert say it was Cav's fault?

The one you call Mr. polka dot is called Heinrich Haussler...

  • @Tunsberg93 He retracted it. He said it was Cavs fault to begin with and the admitted he got it wrong as Haussler cut across. Cav kept a good line. Listen and watch again.

  • @mrwasbesonders Every where that I read about this incident on the web told me that it was Cav's fault, for breking his line. but after seeing this many times I would say that Haussler is leaning to the right(his right) but ends up in a straitght line and that it is Cav who leans too his left and create the crash..

  • @Tunsberg93 You may well be right. But watching it here it looks different from the front and rear angle. From the front to me it looks more like Hausslers fault but from the rear camera angle it appears that Cav swings more across than Haussler. However at the point of contact I would say Cav already has the lead and has nothing to gain from contact with Haussler. On balance it looks pretty 50/50 though academic as neither were going to win the sprint rolling on the ground.

  • @mrwasbesonders Don't think he did it on prupose, Cav. As you said they had nothing to gain for crashing in to each other. (sorry for my spelling,)

  • @Tunsberg93 Thanks, and it also occurs to me that imagine the power these Guys are putting down and at these speeds, stamping down on the pedals, in oxygen debt, probably the vision getting blurred. Easy for them to lose their line and when things are tight in a sprint......Surprising their aren't more crashes....Shows the level of their skills that this doesn't happen more often.

  • I doubt any brain injury was prevented through the use of helmets here. Bike helmets aren't designed for this type of crash. They're designed to be weighted and dropped on their crowns vertically onto a motionless horizontal surface.

  • Cavendish je piča!!!!!!

  • hahaha check out the sky rider that barely squeezes through

  • makes me cringe every time

  • Riding all those miles, and then wiping out 20 yards from the finish line. Man, that's gotta SUCK!!!

  • Crazy still of this crash: boston.com/bigpicture/2010/12/2010_in_photos_part_2_of_3.html - halfway down.

  • i think flecha smacked hauslers head with his pedal as he went threw

  • @taylordb7 yeah looks like it! I've watched this soo many times, it still looks soo bad!!

  • @Matiis1212 ja

  • wow ja tez tak mialem jak jechalem na chylajnodze z kolegami taka kraksa ze wszyscy plakali

  • mistrze? :D

  • Ja z miszczuf, łapkę w dół, dla mnie...

  • look at 0:34 all of the crowd on the left step back. =)

  • holy shit, you see flecha dodge boonen and then haussler at 0:35? crazy luck!

  • whoa, check 0:35 that sky rider baaarrreeely made it between boonen and haussler! crazy luck!

  • Cavendish's innertube / tubular burst if you look carefully

  • @KlassiKX2 and yet his tire does realign after being totally bent.

  • Cavendish is such an asshole man...

The guy just cant ride in a straight line :O

  • @CyclingBestSport You are obviously a cunt

  • @CyclingBestSport You are obviously a twat

  • @baldwinrk First he closes the door for lagutin from vacansoleil, then goes to the right and puts himself on front of haussler...

The guy deserved a suspension, like theo bos had for doing the same

  • OMG ! try to look at the AG2R ríder in the left side !!!!

  • eh, wheres my skin gone?

  • EEESH! this one is hard to watch...

  • Guys, look at 1:00 min, the guy in the pink/white jersey Mark bumps into.

Watch as his head literally bounces off the road...if not for his helmet, he'll probably be seriously injured, if not dead.

Lesson: no matter how silly you look wearing a helmet, it'll save your life.

  • @justinkwl the man in the pink/white jersey ist haussler!

  • @justinkwl yeah, actually, in those four or five seconds right around there..i see three heads bounce off the pavement.

  • cavendish is a shithead

  • @krister999 I respectfully disagree

  • @krister999 Why? It's as much Haussler's fault as Cav's.

  • @Charlienmeg Cavendish crossed his line in the sprint and leaned on Haussler. it was then obviously his fault and after the crash he was not humble as he never is....

  • @Charlienmeg your right you could see him practically trying to fall on cav
