As far as Streisand's version sounding nasal, you are entitled to your opinion. Unfortunately, you are wrong. I love Paige but, Rieu does have a much better voice. She has more range and superior control. The cadence at which music is performed could be the choice of the singer, the director, an over eager acommpanist or the arranger.

don't hate me but i think this is just okay. if you hear closely only the long notes has vibrato, and along with she takes breath so often that lines/phrases are broken. also, there are words in a sentense that should be emphasized but she sings every note equal value(robotic) except for the word "memory"(but this could be the decision of the ensemble, and not her) this affect her "acting". body/facial expression is not enough, sentenses must be sing ALIVE(not robot!) not the best one i've seen.

When they were in New York, Suzan went to Broadway and sang a piece off 'Don't cry for me Argentina'. But that was on the street... ;-) She said then that she would like to sing there in musicals...

André Rieu told once on tv that he let Suzan Erens sing all the songs from musicals, because her voice suites this kind of music the best...
