IMO the FA needs to have a reassessment of its structures from grassroots coaching upwards, and dont forget that the English leagues are open to all players from around the world which might be good for the clubs but its not good for the national game.

Im an Irishman...but for some strange reason I wanted England to do well if only for the intrest in the dammed cup...The fustration at the way they played...lazy passing and failing to hold a basic formation..so fustrating when you look at the talent in the squad. Capello has to take responsibility for it...but not all of it....the players responded very poorly. @elmarco1984 i agree its a problem for the English national game, but its not the only problem. the UK has a strong football culture there´s no reason why England cant produce players as strong as Argentina and Brazil. IMO the FA needs to have a reassessment of its structures from grassroots coaching upwards, and dont forget that the English leagues are open to all players from around the world which might be good for the clubs but its not good for the national game.
