  • Takes me back to when I actually listened to the radio to hear music like this :)

  • OK,if this is good music as you all seem to think, and i am definitely not disagreeing....its good music compared to what...list 10 performers this is better than.

  • Poor guy, he's in the friend zone. :(

  • 1:29 its Claudio sanchez!!! Lol

  • Now That's What I Call Music vol. 1

  • it's songs like this that make ke hate being single, there is always a person i like, but there in a realetion ship with someone that just cuzis pain to them and no matter what i do, i can't get them to realize that even thouge i'm not the best looking person in he world, i'm alot better then there current partner, just once i'd like someone i like to see my potental and go out with me, insted of staying with the person cuzing them pain, what the hell is wrong with this planet!

  • really good song, but I prefer the cover of boyce avenue. If you got the chance, go listen to it ;)

  • Why has it took me so long to discover there awesomness!! >:O

  • they should have put "your mother" on the other side of that card at 0:54

  • That opening guitar sound totally sounds like something that would come from a band called Vertical Horizon; it just feels like a strange but cool illusion and I love how the song reflects well on that.

  • This is a amazing song, it made me realize that some of the things I want in life is not always meant for me for me to have.

  • Don't worry people, just like people eventually got sick and tired of the disco wave in the 70's, so to will this curent trend of Electo-Dance music wave end. Not for at least a year or two, but music cycles. This kind of music will one day come back (think about it, right now music resembles 80's pop, which some people never thought would return). I look forward to the day when late 90's/early 2000's punk rock comes back :)

  • Such a powerful and amazing song, I am sure a lot of people can relate to this song. No they don't make songs like this anymore that is for sure. I miss the old days. :(

  • Aaaahh......They don't make 'em like this anymore...

  • @89chipsahoy they've been playing this song lately on my radio stations, but they never said who it was so i had to look up the lyrics to find out who it was. I love this song

  • Love it just as much as I did when it first came out.

  • I absolutely love VH! I'm so glad they're still going! :D

  • damn, i miss the 90's even though this was made in 2000. But still this band including some other 90's bands made the best music out there.

  • quality lasts

  • I love both this video and song.

  • Here's my take: There is a duality to everything: people have two sides (he splits), two people in the booth (angry vs not), two word patterns (singular vs sentences). This duality fits the song. Both men are what she wants, but her duality causes them to be meaningless to her. The last line is the best: often what we think we want is not what we really need. The irony: he is also telling her that both men actually ARE what she wants and what she needs. She just doesn't see it.

  • nice song ¡¡¡

  • I love this song and I think this is a pretty good video as well. Howdver, I don't understand it in context with the song, yes, there are bits and pieces I'm putting together, but I can't get it all into one piece. Obviously there is a meaning to this video in context with the song, or else the band wouldn't have done this. I suppose I'll just have to keep thinking about it until I can come up with some interpretation....

  • cool song gr8 music

  • @TheCynja I agree with you, but they fit so great together don't they? Haha.

  • I absolutely love this song however I have to admit, I have never understood the connection the lyrics have with the video....

All I can see is the duality of your personality and a bunch of random sayings haha.

    Anyone care to enlighten me?

  • I think there are two different kinds of music. There is the music that can be placed in the background and you don't really hear it, but it's still there. Then there is the music that you hear and it just makes you stop and listen because it's just that amazing, even if you have never heard the song before, even if you don't know any of the words you find yourself humming it to yourself and searching the internet wildly to try and find it so you can hear it again. This song is the ladder.

  • 90's, giddyup!
