I think the dialogue would have been written. Barry seems overwhelmed by the audience's enthusiastic reaction. At .48 he moves is mouth, (an uncharacteristic move) and moistens his lips. It makes me think he is trying to compose himself so he does not laugh while he is supposed to be serious. If you watch closely he grins just before he asks, "Why would you feel like that?". Barry has an incredible sense of humor and seems to be trying to hold it together to deliver his lines.

I always wondered if that dialogue was improvised. Barry seems a bit lost or surprised and he can hardly follow Barbra's mood. She's so sweet, gracious and funny!
