my horse Mystery Light (mustang,arabian,quarter) was taken away because my parents were afraid she would hurt me, she was always bucking and rearing and spooking and everything. but i didn't want to lose her. and when my mother died (4 years ago) my dad already gived her away!! and i was really upset. but a year ago my dad died too. and my uncle and aunt bought her back for me and now we are a amazing couple

i know how you feel!my heart is really broken,i have to give up my horse shadow after my break up.i couldnt afford it anymore.i miss him so much and i dont know where he is now,because the new owner sold him again.tomorrow is his birthday and i dont know how to get through this day.i think about him every day.its 3 years ago now.he was my life...everything!

I feal your pain. I lost my horse just last fall. I never got to say goodbye to her. When I came home all I saw was my other horse swadie standing all alone my horse compinara gone and a blue tarp in the corner of my corral. Rip compinara fall 2009. It brings me to tears just to realize that she's gone forever and I'll never see her again. I wish I could have at least said goodbye to her for the last time.

)8 i remeber last chirstmas my parents bought me a pony, it ended up we learned he was drugged so we thought maybe getting him trained and there they learned he was only 3 so we had 2 sell him then i met the nicest paint mare but she hit her head on a trailer and started gettin blind in the left eye,she reared wen i rode her. We sold her to someone that needs a friend for her other horse, she is a pasture horse, now i have 2 horses,a mini,and a mixed (QH,Mustang,pervain paso etc etc etc. ) thx!

Yes...i gotten over the fact i will most likely never see them again and that i was completely betrayed ;( i guess thats life and a mountain to climb that is harder than anything but once at the top, its a good feeling again.

:/ I know what you mean. I don't know why, but the ones that I was with for the shortest amount of time were harder to let go of then the longer ones. I just wrote like an essay yesterday on my myspace about a horse that left a year ago & how I'm still not over her, at all. ):

haha yea...i will probably be writing songs and poems and writing school essays about shadow for a really long time. :( but that is sometimes a good thing....i still have pictures in on my walls of all the horses i've had

OH i am soooo sorry u had to feel this pain...i still cry about these horses...they were the most unforgettable horses i've ever had .....people dont understand sometimes why i still feel so much for them but i dont think i will ever be able to get over the day i cleaned out the barn and said goodbye.....but thanks so much for the comment :D i really appreciate it <3

yea, i had to say goodbye about 2 months ago :( yea i thought she was my partner for life so the goodbye was 10x harder. I still think about her everyday. I even got her a new saddle blanket for Christmas that i will never be able to use on her! :'(

im so sorry, just remember all of the amazing moments with her, and even the bad, it is all worth is, i sort of know what its like, iv had to sell my training horses and i will never be able to forget them. i hope you can get some more horses when you get to texas, you two looked wonderful together

this must be a really sad turning point in your life, and i am extremely sorry for the loss. just remember that you still have many more amazing experiences to come, even if they're not with your beloved shadow, and just be happy for the time you were able to spend with her.

Im so sorry. People keep telling me "If you cant train your horse, Sell him to someone who can. Stop ruining him" when im only telling him what not to do and what To do. I just can't sell him, cuz he's my baby, almost like my son, to me, and i love him soo much, i just can't bring myself to even think of selling him. Of all the hard tiomes we've been through... Im afraid that he'll get sent to slaughter for being an un-wanted horse. Im so sorry for your loss, And hope she'll go to a good home <3
