I think this was early June after a heavy and late snow year. Generally you can go up anytime, weather permitting. In the winter you have to be versed in winter snow travel. As the snow melts you can hike up the summer route, not pictured in the video. Usually by late June or after, all the snow is gone. it's a popular place.

Just hiked this yesterday. About a foot of snow still there and perfect sliding! No snow until the base of the bowl. Pretty amazing.

I've climbed ellinor once, wish i could go down the chute. but i climbed it in august.
