I'm not impressed by PureSmoke, and here is why:

-Technology is already magical. It doesn't take a genius to know you're pumping smoke from somewhere. The same way it wouldn't take a genius to know its an mp3 player playing music, and not your dog singing lady gaga.

- Its meant to be an 'effect' to enhance a variety of performances. Yet the very act of producing smoke like a wizard, out does any card trick you would be enhancing lol.

- Its made for hardcore pros, but marketed to noobies.

@BrandonKinross you have some good points but its not marketed specifically towards anyone other than magicians nor is it made specifically for professionals. And yes people know that there has to be a machine but that makes it no less cool for them when they see smoke come out of your hands when you do a color change. It does not make the trick its used to enhance look bad in comparison it makes it look better

@BrandonKinross I see what you're saying, but you must understand that magic requires belief in something extraordinary. You can also say "I'm not impressed by card joker reveals because they just switch the cards around" but that's not the point, it is tricking yourself into believing it is real.

PureSmoke creates a way for magicians to simulate something, that would otherwise be impossible.

It is made to be enjoyed by both amateur and professional magicians. No one magician is a 'noob'.

If you build a routine or trick around puresmoke, then it has value in performance. If you become the magican that can produce smoke in all these tricks. Then yes. Great effect.

But otherwise its like throwing in levitation into tricks. Or flash paper.

The effect can very easily 'steal the show' in the trick you're performing. Which is fine! But one has to understand the consequences of that. And I think time will prove that to the amateurs who bought it.

The more I see this, I more I don't wanna buy it. I want the tricks I buy to be well kept. Plus I'm disappointed to see that for 147, I only get plastic tube with an air pump and the Smoke trick. Way overpriced.

@mngngf it can add a lot of alternatives to magic tricks, plus being a trick on it's own, but incorperating it with other stuff makes those tricks even beter
