what are you talking about?? Im not stupid, not everyone would know the lyrics because not everyone in the audience were foo fighters fans. this video isn't just a foo's concert it was a festival, witch if you knew anything about music, you'd know that that means that theirs more then one band playing. so some of the people in the audience didn't know the words to the song because they weren't foo fans.. Dumb fucker..
I'm going to defend petetownshend248 here. It's not lame that everyone in the freak'n crowd doesn't know the lyrics. Not only is he right that not everyone there is a Foo fan, but look at the date of this show. Breakout was a brand new single at this time. Of course not everyone knows the lyrics yet.

I'm guessing it either crapped out (wasn't working) or maybe he broke a string. This happens a lot. He just tosses it back to his guitar tech and keeps going until the problem is solved.
