  • Champion Christian Academy watched your video today to augment their study of beekeeping.

They want to know if you continued to do it and if the drought affected your bees.

    Blessings!

  • Let me connect you with the beekeeper, Mr Fris.

  • Here is Mr Fris' reply:

The bees are doing ok. The drought was tough, but we feed the bees and watered them so they were ok. I lost one hive, which is ok. This year I will have 11 hives and I will be using Top Bar Hives too. Look them up and you'll know what I am referring to. My goal is to move to the least stressful/most honey bee appropriate hive and treatment. No more pesticides, nor more cramping them in next to each other. Tom

  • I like the background music .. Guninies....

  • Do you have any honey for sale? I live in Melissa and would LOVE to buy some from you if it is available. Thanks so much! aleshaharper@att.is my contact email

  • lol @ "dad you look like a marshmallow"

  • We are thinking about keeping bees ourselves in Richardson to help our gardening.

We used to grow an abundance of tomatoes, before the bee population dropped.

Hope to help the bees and ourselves.

  • i agree, hey bro i'm going to be getting into beekeeping very soon. i come from a long line of bee keepers. unfortunately they are unsuccessful beekeepers. and are very vague on information when i ask for it. i wonder if i could ask you a few questions?

  • Thank you for the video, I liked it.

It was a nice way to refresh the english beekeeping vocabulary. ;)
