Refs are not the ONLY ONE to stop a fight......a corner man throwing in a towel would stop a match. So you are wrong with that idea. Even if the Ref doesnt signal the fight is over. A fight ends with a Knock out, tap out, corner or ref stoppage. Doesn't say when a ref SEES a tap out, witnesses a knock out or sees the towel is when a fight is over.
