  • I ever felt this before as well. When I performed Chiptune in Clothing Fest, but no body listened to us. Even worst, we got kicked out 'cuz our music just too loudy

  • I remember being the only guy in the audience when Dj TeeBee performed at a record store in Bergen. Must have been how he felt. Ah well, I dug it.

  • haha. poor guys. It sounds good.

  • I love that Shirt ! XD

  • black color gameboy..............*fap*

  • @fulltimepassgiri u nerd :D

  • Do you have multiple lsdj cartidges or can you set DMGs to master and slave modes, cuz that would be cool.

  • apparently, the song 'sucked' so much even the camera man got bored!

  • geeks are cool.

  • What's that awkwardness at the beginning with the lady tossing a baby around and the staring old chick?...

There's nothing more pathetic - for both sides - than when somebody suddenly stands in your face and acts like he or she just came from Mars.

  • Music is music it doesnt need approval from the listener. Music it self is the listener.

  • @KingMyron23 Do you write this message in every GameBoyMusicVideo on YouTube ? -.- The message is good but pls go out and meet some pretty chicks :D

  • @hayokamashi hahahaha... true2..

  • @hayokamashi maybe he is gay so he's gonna meet pretty boys :-)

  • their tablehas more toys on it than my 3 year old nephew's AWESOME

  • I can gather a crowd 50x larger with my drumset than these fellows, it would seem. The music is still cool though, and way under-appreciated.

  • jesus..it isnt some generic stupid band and then INSTANTLY everybody thinks its 'shit' or 'nerdy'...stupid ignorant bastards

  • Old people super wannabe dork convention? You new age nerds make the nerds of the past seem like gods.

  • needs a 4000 watt amp, make them all shut up!

  • Supongo que serán de Barcelona,no?xD

Es el único sitio donde he escuchado que por lo visto tienen un colectivo de 8bitters...

  • lol a vl-1..

  • f*ck! i can't believe the people over there ignoring the band like that. the world needs more 8bit tunes and the "audience" needs to die horribly

  • lol justice/gb shirt, rad

  • Wow. It must suck when you play at a high school cafeteria and no one pays attention to you.

  • i did the same thing at a community college. All I gotta say is that it pays better than most places.

  • @doganddice LOL... that's so true, i gave an 8bit lecture and performance the other day, and i got 100 bucks!

  • @meedily thats cause they are wee ones and haven't learned about being part of the masses yet. I think it is a game convention of some sort.

  • @meedily thats because it all sounds like it just one blended sound.

  • they got a fucken speak and spell

  • It is good 8 bit though in all seriousness

  • the ds is not a gameboy

  • that kid at the beginning is all "man screw these guys"

  • Ubutu Mawengwe

  • Well...awfully nice of those boys to stop by the local bingo palace and put on a show.

  • i wanna be able to do this someone tell me how!

  • You need a special edition Famitsu Game Boy Light. There were only five thousand made. There's one on eBay now for only about 200 USD. Oh, and you also need a "This is not a bomb" midi controller for it. Last but not least, you need a Nanoloop 2.7 cartridge.

  • @flyingcircusomgz

    hahahahhaa ya

  • lol españoles 8biteros, pues no es ni jodido encontrar xd. 5* ;D

  • I see Dave Attell at 2:06

    maybe some better advertising xD

  • LoL he has a justice cross with arrows on his shirt xd

  • Perhaps it's a nintendo controller shaped like a cross..?

  • nope its a gameboy D-pad. but this video is retarded. no one is even paying attention to them. wtf is this place?

and the other two are so fucking bored they're playing snes streetfighter LOL

but the music is pretty cool. if i was there i'd jump in with my er-1

  • I know that not only gameboy (and lsdj) is used to create chiptune. But i am wanting to learn lsdj. Thanks for the help.

  • yes I know but with just one still I am still able to make good music? Or more than 1 gameboy is a think that a gameboy artist can not live without.

  • the answer is YES. you only need one. look at nullsleep, bit shifter, and countless other who use only one game boy at a time to make wonderful music. and not all chip musicians use game boys either. theres a whole world of commodores, ataris, nintendos, and other great consoles and computers being used for chiptunes.

  • one question to the chiptunes makers that are seeing this video.

Is possible to make music (very good music) with ldsj with just one gameboy (or usiung a emulator)??

Everytime I see live videos people are using two or more gameboys at the same time, and other instruments too.

I am trying to learn making music with lsdj.

  • Get more than one gameboy + a transfer cable, and as many LSDJ carts as you want. you can hook them up, set one as master, and another as slave, and instead of the 4 channels you get with 1 gameboy (2 pulse, 1 noise, 1 wave which only gives you 2 channels for "normal" tone, 1 for flexible tones/sounds, and one for static sound) You now have double, meaning 4 pulse, 2 noise, 2 wave.)

    Hope this helps man.

  • Lissajou is a GOD he uses 1 mixer 1 Nintendo gameboy Goat Slacker ive seen on just 1 gameboy as we and hes right under lissajou

  • cool 8-bit, but where are they playing???

why nobody dance? it's wery wierd))

  • ha ha cool .:)

    - MonkWhY -

  • i wish nintendo created also a voice modulater for the gameboy, next the gameboy camera.

  • we have had synthesisers since the 60's .lol.australians invented the moog.

  • they could connect 10 or more gameboy,s to a synthesizer and only use channel 3 from each gameboy cuzz it,s able to play dpcm samples now once conce together,it,d good to sample those channels up to 16 bit and they will get what they,re playing pushing the gameboy,s to it,s limmit,s would be more awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • what game\ program are u using? Not gameboy camera? love the 8 bit sounds!

  • LSDJ.

    Little Sound DJ.

  • I did a litle reserch and found out about that program. Downloaded it to my computer and used it on a gameboy emulator. It came without a manual, so i dident understand mutch. but i manage to program som stuff, and it truly sounds amazing. Want that program on my real gameboy tho. guess i need a special gameboy cartridge?

  • Alrighty, here's the deal with that haha.

On the website that sells/distributes LSDJ they have a manual that will explain everything, and nullsleep [a major LSDJ user/artist] has tutorials on his website @ nullsleep(dot)com. Basically, if you want to run it on a real gameboy, you're either going to go through a ton of hassle to do it yourself, or for 50$ you can buy a cartridge with it preloaded.

The program itself costs only 1 Penny! But you should definitely donate more!

  • i see tnx for the info dude:D Where do i find the cartridges with the program preloaded? ebay?

  • another question. what about a manual for the emulator lsdj? it's hard to use, for example. i can't tell what keys on my computers keyboard represent the buttons on a gameboy.

  • Well, that depends on the emulator, so basically, you'll have to define/find out what keys you're using in the EMULATOR, from there, it's easy to tell what buttons to press, use NESTER or something similar, and you'll be able to set up your keyboard for whatever button combination you want.

As for a manual, on LSDJ's website, when you click "download" something, it'll take you to a root directory, in there you can find the manual in PDF format. You have to have Adobe Acrobat to read it.

  • i wanna start to make this music!!! what i have to buy and what i have to download... please help me

  • You need a Gameboy, Usually Color, Pocket, or Original, the Advance has the capability I believe, and the sound card for it, but I'm unsure of it's abilities to function like the Color, Pocket and Original. Program: Little Sound DJ, or LSDJ, it costs 1 American Penny.

Search google for the program, you find it, you buy it through Paypal, for 1 Cent!

  • If you plan on actually using it to make music, please donate the suggested $20. It will keep development of new versions coming and keep the community together.

  • ^^ What he said, I can't believe I left that out, I usually encourage people to donate mounds of money :-P

I bought my copy for 25$ because I love what Johan does!

  • 25 here too. ive just got the cart, cant wait to start digging into it. ive got a feeling il be able to compose much better than i can on nanoloop. ee!

  • Yeah definitely! Nanoloop is just too awkward for me to use, LSDJ is good for on the fly and what-not because of it's layout, plus it just feel so much more in depth.

  • the nullsleep manual isn't describing something. i go to first row third column enter 20 enter the chain. go to the phrase screen change the instrument to 10. hit select down to instrument page. change it to KIT select the kit i want. but when i go back to the phrase page there aren't two columns as described to enter 2 drums at once. and when i try to enter my drum sound it comes out as notes and not abbrevaited letters (example BD=Bassdrum. what am i doing wrong?

  • The demo is messed up, so you'll have to buy the full version to get that, it's only $00.01 but you should definitely donate more.

  • see that's where i'm confused. the first three times i went through the program doing what the manual said it had the double column and i was entering drum abbreveations. but when i closed it. came back home to try it again. it wont let me.

  • Yeah, I had the same problem, i just bought the full thing for like 5 - 10$ and since it's been nothing but perfect. A good option is to buy a license, and then buy a cartridge off of ebay.

  • Spain i guess .. 2:50 haha,
