@Jacobweb9009 do everybodys loyalty missions...pick mordin to escort survivors, choose samara for biotic shield, choose legion for opening that one door, and choose garrus for leading the fire team. should work out fine, but i might have forgot something.

Mordin is actually fucking amazing, sure all the other characters are cool or interesting or really good in combat, but no character ever in any game is anything like Mordin.

He was the only one who died on my first playthrough and first thing I did after beating it was replay the final mission making sure he lived.

Mordin is probably the hardest character on your team to keep alive during the final mission. I recommend sending him (loyal, of course) back to the Normandy to escort the surviving crew members. On my first playthrough, everyone survived because I sent Mordin back for the heck of it (I didn't really know what I was doing at *that* point; the other assignments made sense), but on my second playthrough, he died, confusing me.
