I was bit by my pitbull who was never raised for fighting, I never abused or mistreated him and loved him so much, but when I was tying my shoe about to leave the house he came up to me with a sad look. When I went to pet and comfort him and tell him I was coming back, he clamped his vice-grip jaw down on my forehead and almost taking out my right eye. A Philadelphia has been killed by a pack of pitbulls but her son says the city’s animal-control deserves some of the blame for her violent death.
Carmen Ramos, 50, died from injuries suffered in an attack by the 5 pitbulls owned by her husband, Jose Alvarez.

I was bit by my pitbull who was never raised for fighting, I never abused or mistreated him and loved him so much, but when I was tying my shoe about to leave the house he came up to me with a sad look. When I went to pet and comfort him and tell him I was coming back, he clamped his vice-grip jaw down on my forehead and almost taking out my right eye. Violence is in their blood now, it is our fault. They can no longer be trusted.

Bad Rap Pit Bull Rescue, Atlanta Pit Bull Rescue, Our Pack, Inc., Best Friends Animal Society, Animal Farm Foundation are some of the better known pit bull rescues and groups that are trying to help pit bulls and the persecution against these dogs and other types of dogs with BSL, etc. They have plenty of information on how to speak up for these dogs.

I volunteered at a local animal hospital in Lancaster. I saw some dogs that came in that were in dog fights or were attacked by other dogs. It made me sick to think of it.
