Instead of writing the comic aboot (see what I did there?) your father why don't you have him on the show and talk to him aboot it. Kevin Smith did that on Smod with his Mom for something like 4 hours and it was awesome.
Also, let's get those ladies in your life on the show as well. Get your kids to read scenes from The Godfather or Pulp Fiction. A morning radio show in Philly does that and they call it "Toddler Theater", it's hysterical.
during the writers strike, Carson Daly was actually good. most of his show consisted of him calling his mom and having her tell stories.
also, kids doing grown up things = comedy gold. Little Rascals, Little Giants, Human Giants "Lil 9/11"....kids ftw.
