yes, kawaiianimebabii is correct. There is a Chinese (it's actually Taiwanese) versions but there is some like this song. I've only heard this version, Taiwanese version and Hmong version (I'm Hmong, so I have heard the Hmong version to this song)

yea, translating is translate the original Lyrics! the song is Fa Ru Xue, and it's mean hair like snow, using hair as dark metaphor and snows as cold light as metaphor for separating lover idea. Andy did not translate this, he uses RAIN as the metaphor here.......

And i'm not bashing on the viet music industry. but you have to admit the fact that only a little percentage of viet artists have original songs. Well viet artists in america anyways. They need to focus on making their own songs. Other artists do it, so whats their excuse? To me vietnamese music won't ever hit mainstream like Korean or Chinese, because of their is no originality. to angeldust, yea most artists have ppl who write for them, but did you know they get to choose what songs they want to sing? If you listen to the MC in Van Son, the artists get to choose the song they sing. Its not like they don't have a choice. How many times do you want to hear a version of a song? How many times do u want to buy a cd with the same songs just different lyrics? I'm just trying to say that viet music can go even further if they actually had original songs. They have potential.

Why do you think its taking so long for artists to come out with new albums? Before they came out one every year, Than it was two years. And now Nguyen Thang has left Van Son? why? because the company is falling, with Pirated Dvds, and less fans now due to their lack of ability to write their own songs. And i am vietnamese too, and i have both his albums. I'm not denying that he is a good artist, but once start listening to more variety of music, you'll soon stop buying albums like i did from viet artists because all their songs are just a remake of another song. Thats why the vietnamese market is dwindling. THere is little support of viet artists from the new generation because of their unoriginality.

he did not translate it. he rewrote the lyrics and remix the beat and sang it himself. Which is consider plagiarizing because he puts it on his album and makes money from it and not giving credit to the original creator(jay chou). It is good, but unlike other artists who copy ppl songs, vietnamese artists don't bother writing their own songs. and plus how can u say its translated into vietnamese? when i don't hear toc nhu tuyet(hair like snow) in any part of the song?
