Your video reminds me of riding around on a bike with the transistor on the handlebars...which is how I would have been listening to this song in the 70's...cool..
Actually, I am going to apologize. I think the radio thing is pretty cool-it is actually your theme--hence the handle. I clicked on your page and it is pretty cool. I lightened up. I removed my comments....
@larrydh57 one of the more piss poor comments i have ever read, by someone who does not realize that it is not about the video, but about the song....dude, lighten up and just close your eyes next time, or go buy the cd.
Not one of his biggest; in fact, Sir Elton would go into a prolonged late-70s slump that would see him go about 2-1/2 years without a Top 10 record in the U.S. Nonetheless, he finished the decade as the top pop artist, with 1975 being the highwater period.
Great song but I wish you (or someone) would also upload the full-length version of this song. So far, I haven't found an upload of the full-length version of 'Bite Your Lip (Get Up and Dance)' on YouTube...
@glenn3rd2004 if you want the full version...then let me know....i was going to upload the full version, but decided to fade out after a few minutes....the attention span on youtube is very short.....shot me an email with your address. i will send you the full version on an mp3 file.
@TRANSlSTORradio Thanks. My new YouTube ID is 'grickard319582010'. I closed my 'glenn3rd2004' account. My e-mail is glennrickard3_1958_2010@yahoo.com.
@waiter1971 No. It's simply edited so more radio stations who don't play long songs can play 'Bite Your Lip'. The full-length version of this song is 6 minutes and 43 seconds long.
This is actually a "radio edit" The single (US commercial) version is still about 6 minutes, and I read Casey Kasem actually played the full version one week on AT40 and played edited versions of singles in the first hour of a countdown. Funny.
Are we having fun yet...I think so!! Great Audio/Visual...thanks for great moments like this...I am thanking God for your ever present creative forces and gifts to us..♥

Sir Elton hit #28 in Billboard, 3-5-77. On the Hot 100 an unusually short time, only 6 weeks. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

I believe the longer version is on the BLue Moves album. Then there is also a remixed version, identified as the Tom Moulton Mix.
