I wanna upgrade my iTunes Store album purchases to 256kbps iTunes Plus AAC from the 128kbps DRM'ed AAC's they were originally downloaded in, but seriously why in the hell should i have to pay 30% more of the price i originally paid in the first place just so i can get higher quality that i should have had when i first downloaded everything?. that means for instance that iTunes wants me to pay $3 more when i already paid $10 in the first place for the album. get real. the upgrade should be free.

i just bought 3 songs from itunes and was absolutely bowled over by how heavily compressed the music was.. its basically un-listenable.... ironed flat with practically no dynamic range. very disappointing ...

just get the cd, borrow it from a friend, upload it at 256 kbps (itunes plus) higher quality then 128 and NO restrictions!

basicly halo on the basic itunes you can only move the music file you have bought five times because of copy rights on that file so if you use the itunes pluss they dont have that copy right and you can move it as many times as your little heart wants to

I like iTunes and have bought alot of complete albums and songs from them, but seriously?...why are they trying to charge me more for something that i have already bought?. with the iTunes Plus feature that gives you higher quality files than they've previously used and them saying you can upgrade your previous library with the higher quality versions why the hell are they trying to charge people 30% more of what they've already paid?. that is 100% bullshit. no fucking sale. i've already paid...

I should'nt have to pay a cent more of what i already own. i want the higher quality versions but charging people 30% more of the full price already paid is outrageous. this is temporary right?. nice way to rip off your loyal customers.

Most new songs in Itunes plus now are at $1.29. Thats a rip off. 40 cents more.

Yeah i noticed that too, what's the reason for that?. horrible business decision tbh. that right there will turn people away and make them go elsewhere. i can go on Amazon mp3, Wal-Mart, or Napster and get an mp3 version for $0.99 or less at the same bitrate as iTunes Plus(256 kbps)and it will play on everything. lol, why would you raise your price even more when people already hate paying $0.99 which people already think is overpriced in the first place?.

i get my music from amazon mp3 and index it in iTunes. Fuck u apple. Your DRM free iTunes plus music takes up twice as much space as mp3.

I agree with you 100% about Apple. but Amazon mp3 music files are the same size as iTunes Plus files. both are encoded @ 256 kbps. both take up double the space. only difference is one is AAC encoded and one is mp3 encoded. mp3's are better as they can be played on basically anything where AAC's can't.

yeah and the files are also BIGGER and they might not have DRM but they sure include your email address on the file, so if you do something stupid they file will lead them right to you.

itunes plus is bullshit! if songs i have in my library is NOT itunes plus why do i have to pay to upgrade it if buying itunes plus music that i never had before costs money??? FUCK YOU APPLE!!!
