I do agree with the no SoH pro ADS for snipers, but there was a bit too much sway before they patched it. Sniping should be a challenge, because it brings out more of a "pro" feel now instead of show-off quickscopers.

I was just thinking.. You should talk about customizing the guns. So say like the M4. I like sniping so in MW3 they should allow you to change the way the gun is like. so like you can change the barrel and change it from full auto to semi-auto (single shot) and then add a sniper scope on top and like you could add a bipod to do them long range shots or to add better accuracy... This i think will be the biggest best thing in MW3!

I agree that they should bring Black Ops sniping back. But the main issue I had with Sniping in Black Ops, was that the Maps were all pretty much designed for close quarters combat, as opposed to long range Line of Sight. MW2 had a decent mix between long range and short range, that Black Ops seems to lack. So yeah, just my thoughts on the matter, they should include some better sniping maps in MW3.

like cod4 sniping. honestly i dont mind mw2 sniping, quickscoping is easier but it still relies on skill to line it up. quickscoping is not cheap or frustrating, but i think soh pro scope in is not necessary for snipers because mw2 was too noob friendly all around. regular guns should also kill slower and snipers wont have soh pro.

MW2 sniping should NOT be brought back. It wasnt even sniping. "quickscoping" IS NOT SNIPING. A sniper is supposed to specialize at long ranges and covering their team, not running around bashing their eye with the scope and doing ballerina spins, etc. Call of Duty should "balance" snipers like Black ops. but ALSO, ASSAULT RIFLES and SUB MACHINE GUNS should be nerfed to have less range. I've been outranged by AK47s, and every noob on Black ops uses the AK74U with no skill.

Word at War general sniping mechanics with better damage seems good. Not overpowered like in MW2 and COD4 with quickscoping, but not UTTER BLOODY SHIT like it is in Black Ops.

P.S. MW2 won't have the L96A1. It's a 1960s British sniper rifle that wasn't even deployed to service because it wasn't deemed good enough.

Personally I think it is how it should be because in previous games like MW2 and MW it was way too easy and a bit of a cheap way of getting kills by sniping because there was little skill involved. @AQWJesse If you want to know how to quickscope with the ACOG, you can watch my tutorial. The same stuff pretty much applies to the Reg. Scope. It just takes practise man, thats the best advice I can give you :)

@hokieavare Calm down dude. Black Ops 'Quickscoping' isn't really 'Quickscoping' - it is no where near the same as previous CoD titles. And Treyarch did not bring it back - the snipers in Black Ops still have a sway and a delay before shooting, unlike previous games.

@hokieavare you're a fucking idiot...they didn't patcvh shit....when you zoom in it akes 1.5s for the bullet to travel exactly where the crosshairs are, don't talk if you know nothing. The sway is till there aswell. To the video, sniping was under powered in every cod game. MW2 took skill, Aim assist does not even apply to us as we are always running. Aim assist just moves the cross hairstowards the target if YOU are standing still. We run n gun so it doesn't apply to us.
